twist aside, i've started to find this movie really fascinating. think about it. it's about a boy who is forced to be female to appease his abusive and mentally unstable aunt, only shortly after he was traumatized watching his sister and father killed by a boating accident. Not only that, he was further affected seeing his father sleep with another man (which makes him sexually confused and unstable as heterosexual boys display attraction to him, believing he's female.) Then years later, the boy is pursued other boys' and older mens' unwanted sexual attention as well as unwanted attention from girls who bully him relentlessly for being weird and getting male attention, until he ends up murdering them. It's a combination of misogyny, sexuality, gender dysphoria, and peer abuse that causes Angela/Peter to become a slasher villain, but you completely understand and can even sympathize his reason for doing so.
@h8makingupnames7 жыл бұрын
Don't forget the constant awkward staring at Judy is because he's attracted to her and making Peter's peter hard (or would it be Angela's angela........ Angela's peter? Yep, Angela's peter, it even has a double meaning)

It's not that frozen, unhinged stare complete with a wide-open mouth, it's not those unearthly, feral snarls, it's not the fact that "she" has a penis... It's the fact that we're looking at someone who went through so much traumatizing shit that eventually made him\her snap and go on a killing spree. Between: witnessing his sister and father dying a sudden, heinous death, being raised by a lunatic who repressed his sexuality and forced him to live as not just any girl, his very deceased sister, having witnessed a man making out with another man, being bullied by a bunch of chickenshits and bitches complete with a creep trying to bang him\her and attracting a boy who clearly can't have a clue about what "she" really is, do you think Peter wouldn't have snapped any time soon?!

To be fair, the end shot was done by a college student wearing a facecast of Felissa Rose, the actress who played Angela the rest of the movie, so it wasn't pre-teen dick. I replayed the boiling water part like ten times. I say DAMN everytime lol, plus the voice over is comedy. Funniest thing I've seen all day hands down. That two seconds is what turns a bad day into a good day. I still can't make it past 8:57 without rewinding it ten seconds.

I replayed the boiling water part, too. Because that dirty, slimy, pervy, disgusting pig fricking deserved it.

I always found Angela’s face at the end looked weird! For a while, I always thought Angela was turning into a werewolf!

"Heheheh, i know what's gonna happen next. And it's gonna be HILLARIOUS." One of my favorite Snob quotes, that, along with anything from "Old Fashioned"

Ah yes, the episode that got me into the series. I legit do remember being confused at first since I was looking for someone else but possibly that led me to the greatest internet heroes of my life.

That hairstyle was so classic to the Snob. I miss it. But as a dude with pattern baldness, I understand bald Snob.
