Sleeping in a Derelict Farmhouse: Is it Safe? The Farmhouse Kitchen
After 3 months of sleeping in our tent, just outside the backdoor of our derelict farmhouse in Ireland, we think enough work has been done for us to start sleeping inside.
The rotten ceiling joists have been replaced, the above bedroom OSB floor has been laid and we think we have done enough to stop things falling on our heads while we sleep in the 100 year old farmhouse kitchen.
Being complete beginners at farmhouse renovation and really needing a "homesteading for beginners" guide, we are taking it slowly, enjoying everything we do no matter how hard it is, to one day realise our dream of running a fully functioning homestead from our once derelict Irish Farmhouse.
