Hello, I watched your video with great interest. I have two questions : 1 Do you think it is possible to put the Gopro right side up on the Gimbal? Because at the base the Gopro is fixed upside down. 2 Do you think it is possible to use the Gimbal and charge it at the same time? Thank you for your answers. Jack

The Karma Grip is the gimbal I use! I had a Feiyu WG with three axis before, but the footage looked terrible in my opinion, so I decided to send it back. Four mounths ago i bought the Karma Grip and a Hero 6. Although I was expecting it's battery-lifetime to be way to short I don't regret buying it! The Karma Grip also can be set up way faster than the Feiyu Gimbals, because it doesn't has any screws you have to turn hundreds of times and even charges your GoPro!

I'm a bit ignorant here and still learning about GoPros and gimbles but how does this work. It looks like the Camera is mounted upside down on the gimble.

With the stabilizing features built into your new HERO6 you may not need one.

How about some video footage with audio from the gopro instead of music?

Looks solid. Shame it's not compatible with GoPro Sessions though.

The WG-2 gimbal that I use is supporting my Sessions very nicely. I think it's a 2-horse race (between this and the WG-2) - the reason I didn't wait for the Slick is because I wanted full waterproof for kitesurfing and the Slick is only splashproof.
@CampbellZeroOne6 жыл бұрын
How long have you had the WG-2 for Alexis? If it can handle kite surfing it should easily manage skiing and motorcycling during a typical Scottish summer.

I've had it since December - got used extensively for Skiing (see my '1xTurkey... ' video on my channel where it was used extensively using a Session 4) - there are other videos there using the WG2 with Session 4 and Session 5. Not kitesurfed with it but submerged it in a hot tub (long story) for over 30 seconds and no water ingress whatsoever... it's also got a smaller form factor than the Slick and can be bought with a remote to control the angle of the gimbal. No issues with mine in 3 months.

Well, ain't that slick... Pun intentional, but it really is slick.

Thinking about adding my first gimbel to my bag. Which one would you suggest as a first one?
@kylemartin1016 жыл бұрын
Oh man that is a hard question. I find I use the WG2 a lot, but with most gimbals on price parody the GoPro Karma grip is really appealing. The ability to control the camera make it a much more complete package then other gimbals out there.

No quarter 20 mounting screw useless

This is impart valid. The question is how often do you mount a gimbal using the 1/4 20 mount? I find it far more common I convert the 1/4 20 mount to a GoPro Mount. Plus it is really easy to mount this gimbal to a 1/4 20 mount using the standard GoPro Tripod Mount.
