Great video, thank you! For it not falling out while landing just flip this setup over so that the mount point is above the power strap. Also, if you mount the GoPro upsidedown then you can angle it up a bit more to get less of the ski and a little more of the run.

To those who may have issues with the hero 3 even today heres why it happened for me: I was using a fast charger (RealMe Brick) to charge the go pro which is too much power for it as it seems. After removing the battery and reinstalling it i decided to plug it into my pc instead which is low enough power for the go pro to handle.
