Dude!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was researching how to cut my Guide Tube, but you confirmed my suspicion that I needn't do that. Can't thank you enough.

I usually don’t complain but the switch from blaring music to hearing your voice was tough on this one.

I was thinking the same thing as well as having the commentary in the right channel only but music in stereo....makes wearing headphones suck.
@silverbackag9790 Жыл бұрын
The music wouldn’t be as bad if it were leveled with voice. Annoying on iPhone speakers but probably blew out eardrums with headphones.
@smokecodm5291 Жыл бұрын
@statedwoods co maybe lowering the music volume and speaking over it then raising it again when not talking would be easier on the ears and sound less choppy
@teaguewhite26 Жыл бұрын
Try wearing hearing aid when these guys do this constantly. It's extremely annoying

I recently moved and sold my old table saw and band saw before the move. This is useful to be because I picked up a Sawstop and a new Harvey bandsaw (which, if you haven't checked them out are amazing for the money). I'm glad to see I can use this with my Sawstop without taking the wing off. Knowing Harvey's quality I'm sure this will be something I'll seriously look in to.

Yea I was happy for the same reason.

@@Statedwoods I'm finally getting around to assembling this thing (after waiting for some electricians to do some work) and I noticed that there are no drill holes in the extension wing that attaches to the sliding table. The manual doesn't mention anything about having to drill anything so I'm wondering if you had to and if so did Harvey give any guidance on that.
@MC-wq4fk Жыл бұрын
Apparently it's an error on their part. New part coming.

Great overview! I'm looking to get one. How easy is it to remove when you want to rip? I had the Sawstop version at one time and didn't like how I had to calibrate it every single time I took it off and back on.
@Statedwoods Жыл бұрын
Very easy to remove. I take it off all the time.
@1987gnXtreme Жыл бұрын
I came to the comments section to see about removing the unit to make other cuts, I see a couple others have asked that question as well. In your follow up video, can you please show us just how easy it is? That would be great. I am thinking about getting one of these and this is my biggest concern.

Great video Brother. Question, does the sliding piece lock into place and how easily does the fence come off? I'm just wondering how easy it is to lock it so as not to interfere with larger rips using the fence on the opposite side.
@Statedwoods2 жыл бұрын
Hey man. Thanks. Yea it locks into place and really you just loosen the one screw and slide the fence off. Its really simple to switch it up

I would just get the one made by Sawstop. Good sponsored video though.

You didn't show how the sliding mechanism works. How can it be so stable in such a small footprint?

It just has really good, strong rollers. Not sure how it works. Dont want to take it apart to see. She works great right out of the box

Have you found any issues with having the slider on the wing? I spoke to Harvey and they said I could have issues with miter cuts. I am curious about your experience

No its been perfect so far. I cant live without this now. When we get caught up on videos, I can film another review

Interesting. That’s a pretty massive disclaimer if that’s what they said. “By the way you could have some issues if you want to cut miters with this thing?”

Have you noticed any deflection in the stops? My experience with that type of stop is they can deflect easily when doing multiple cuts at a production pace.

Nice video! I too have a PCS and was thinking of adding this table. Do you think this could replace my sliding miter saw? I don't break down sheets of ply, or super long boards, if that helps. Thanks!

Great video but the mono audio was killing me. Toggling from stereo on the music to mono on the spoken parts was really messing with me. Had to turn my phone to vertical orientation to center the mono, sufficient but a bandaid. Otherwise - great and useful video, thanks!

Watching your video I noticed the sliding bed sitting above your table saw, so when you have a sheet on it wouldn't you technically be cutting like an 88 or 89 degree angle and not 90, did you check the edge of your cut for square. Just curious, noticing this is making me second guess buying one of these for my sawstop. Is there an adjustment for this?
@Statedwoods Жыл бұрын
No its still 100% at 90. If it wasnt a fraction above the table then your work piece wouldnt ride on it making the tool useless.
@kennethpassey8607 Жыл бұрын
@Statedwoods Co I get that, just in your video it looks no joke like a quarter inch gap. Just pointing out what I see and asking questions. Love your videos, keep it up!!!
