Would love an instruction video or parts list video for the Navi Disc brake conversion!

It requires a lot of parts and custom work. There are easier options available. And honestly the Navi Drum brakes work perfectly if adjusted correctly.

What are the easier options we could do that you recommend?

Sorry I missed this til now. IMO, removing the linked system is best and the drum brake work great when separated and adjusted to the riders preference.

Hello. I am curious what rear shock you have on the Blue Navi. I am thinking about modifying a Rockshox to fit on my Navi and am trying to figure out how to make the forks a bit better. Great channel! These little scooters are slow fun! 😂
@xtramediumminimoto11 ай бұрын
The one on the teal/blue bike is from webike japan, it’s sold by WirusWin. The shock on the green Navi is actually a better option though. Its height and preload adjustment is much better than all the other options. It’s listed as a “gy6 rear shock” and it came from scooterworks Chicago.

I recently bought a mini truck to haul bikes that’s been a big distraction, but I’ll still be modifying it and everything else! Thanks for watching!

@@xtramediumminimotohey I got a question. Gonna be hard to form an opinion with a picture but I found a Navi for 1400 that needs work I think. I say I think because I’m hoping that I can fix the problem without purchasing any new parts. It was dropped once and from what I’ve seen the mirror, front blinker and brake all on one side broke. The blinker looks out of place by just a few inches. Mirror cracked but not shattered into dust and hanging on. The brake lever looks done as in popped loose but hanging on for the most part. The real deal breaker for me is guy has it listed in the description it needs an alignment. I know some bikes you can loosen up all the hardware and basically shake it back into place if the forks became misaligned. So my question is if you think this can be done with the Navi? If not wouldn’t still buy it? From what I’ve seen all of the front end can be fixed with parts online if the case is something’s wrong with anything other than the forks? Hope this makes sense and thanks 🙏

Hey sorry man, somehow I missed the question. The simple answer is yes. Oem Navi parts are exceptionally cheap and easy to replace. The front end may be able to be bent back just like straightening the bars on a bmx bike. If not, replacement parts really are super cheap. I like babbitsonline.com or partzilla for OEM stuff.

Love the content. Where did you get the handle bars?

Thank you! Both of my Navi have different combinations from SteadyGarage.com. They each have the Chimera U-bomb bar with clip ons. They have 2 options the clip ons and the U-bomb bar comes in black or polished, narrow or wide. I have different combinations on each Navi and like them both. Lots of adjustment.

What rims are those? Do they fit on the stock navi? Do you have a link? 💜
@xtramediumminimoto Жыл бұрын
They’re custom machined to fit the Navi hub in the rear and the front is modified even more for the disc brake. But second Navi has the same wheels with stock Navi hubs.

Did you upgrade the clutch or variator in the metallic blue Navi? Just curious.
@xtramediumminimoto Жыл бұрын
I have a variator, a couple different weight sets and different belts to try. Haven’t messed with the clutch as the stock one works perfectly.

Curios about the mounting points on the Navi ruckus swap. Will the Navi motor “bolt up “ to the ruckus mount or will you have to fab some items.
@xtramediumminimoto Жыл бұрын
No, typical ruckus mounts won’t work. Custom mount or fab work needed.
