Excellent 3 part video series, you made everything seem so simple and easy to understand. I really wish you guys had a school somewhere on the east coast, so that potential buyers could actually learn to fly on a plane that they would eventually own, versus training on an old Cessna. A ty-wrap on the parachute handle? Great to have when an emergency really happens..

i would guess thats what is producing the force resistance on the handle. He talked about it. In a real emergency with much adrenaline i dont believe a tie-wrap can keep you from pulling this handle.

The throttle has no lock? what ifyou accidentally push down or up?

Nice information on the Sling, However, I don't like that prop controller, accident waiting to happen. I have done a demo flight. Very nice, responsive controls, no slop @ all in the one I flew in.

Why is it an accident waiting to happen? The prop control is automatic, You just set the mode.

@@pilotavery Kinda old but Ill answer ya. Simple, NO electric power, NO instrument Panel, NO prop control. I don't know if your a real world pilot, but there are so many so called Flight Simmer on here that *"Think"* they can fly a real aircraft. But I bet *some* could, learn from a flight sim, then go flying..(With a CFI) Real world flying an airplane IS actually pretty simple and easy. up, down left right.(and yaw, trying to keep this simple) Its the *TONS* of other information that is needed to know how to get from HERE to THERE safely. REAL world training takes NO backseat!! Being prepared for the day when SHIT HAPPENS! And if you are a real world pilot, you know this to be true. But I suspect not, just because you ask me the question above.

@@doesntmatter3068 dude. First of all, there are three alternators so the chances of two of them failing is pretty slim. Second of all, an electrical failure won't knock out any of your panel, because both of the G3X and even the G5 backup unit all have its own internal battery. Lastly, Not only is the electric motor hub more reliable than the hydraulic systems you find on most of the continental and Lycoming, but during any kind of failure, they fail into full fine which means itches operates as a fixed pitch prop. Tell me again how this is an accident waiting to happen.

@@doesntmatter3068 dude, I'm working on my commercial certificate, I'm just a PPL and IR. I'm not sure what all this talk is about flight simming and shit, but airmaster props even come certified. Many people are willing to purchase airplanes with hydraulic constant speed props, what's the big deal about electric? With how much redundancy there is, there's no way you're going to lose your prop and your instrument panel, you would have to have a triple alternator failure, triple avionics panel failure, a dual battery failure, or single battery failure and dual prop motor failure, or a dual ECU failure. There are way too much redundancy options on the rotax 915 IS

@@doesntmatter3068 You have no prop control on a fixed pitch prop either, you just have throttle and it works. That's what happens if you have a prop failure. Do you have a hate against electric power? Honestly if all three of my avionics panels built in batteries fail and both of my batteries fail and all three of my alternators fail, either a nuke just went off and the EMP shut everything down, in which case I'm dead in 45 seconds when the shockwave hits me, or God is trying to kill me anyway
