Cayenne reaction times are even better than my ex Land cruiser 120/Prado (Torsen) and it has rear diff lock and air suspension. Still not for off-road, but very capable car.

Cool test! No surprise for me. The Porsche Cayenne (also the Macan) has same drive train like the VW Touareg - the best what you can get für street and offroad. But: it has weight.

Many manufacturers and models use it, Qashqai, X-Trail, Murano, Duster, Outlander, ASX, Delica, Lancer, SX4, Vitara, CX-3, CX-30, CX-5, CX-7, CX-9, Koleos, Arkana, some Peugeot cars and many more. Control software is different in each case. This system is better than haldex cause it is not that complicated while it is very responsive - 200 times per second.

Common problem on this generation. The gear to engage the 4wd rusts and at some point when the 4wd is engaged all the teeth break off at once. But it's not that hard to replace.

no no my friend, volvos 4 wheel system, you can not even compare that to vw touareg, if porsche have the same, looks like it, volvo lost big time in off road.vw touareg and porsche has ALOT more adv and better 4 wheel system than volvo, its easy to get wrong picture of that porsche, dosent look to have, but it has very good system, most likely Alot more expensive 4 wheel system than volvo, volvo is pretty basic
