Although it probably has no big significance to it, Liar is also refering to that guy Chris that was recently kicked out of the band. His mask was Pinocchio with enlarged nose, and the guy that replaced him has the same mask but burned (you can tell by the mouthpiece, it's the same as Chris' last album).

Straight up, this song had me teared up the first time I heard it. This whole album is just pain. Corey Taylor was going through a separation with his (ex?) wife a little while before they started work on this album and I think a lot of that depression and hurt came out on this album. It's beautiful but brutal.

I love Corey Taylor and his guys.....awesome album,it's experimental,deep,crazy in the really fucking good way and healthy agressive.....that song here is so deep,touching and painfull.....can relate in some parts to his pain....my lovely friend and soulmate Jordan from Valrico is gone withy only 27 in 2015....loved and love him so much,he was very ethereally,highly sensitive and a genius....looking forward to see Slipknot next year in Germany a gain....thanks for the review to that song....subbed
