I don’t know what to say apart from RIP Joey. The god of metal drumming. No one could touch him in terms of aggression, brutality and speed on the kit. He seemed like an amazing guy too. I really hope he’s in a better place now. Long live Joey Jordison 🤘🤘

Before I Forget was my introduction to the band when I was in middle school. I first heard it on Guitar Hero 3, and then I heard Duality and Psychosocial not long after. Then starting in highschool I became a fan through getting the All Hope Is Gone CD and then by the time .5 came out I was a maggot. RIP Joey, forever a huge inspiration for my drumming heart 🖤

Was fortunate to see them as the original lineup back in 2000 on their first UK tour. Was my first ever gig too. We knew nothing about them when their first album came out. The build up was just a demo on a free kerrang CD. Joey was a bloody amazing drummer. RIP Joey.

This was the song that really got me into metal. I used to listen to Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and that kind of stuff, but could never get into heavier stuff. Then one day I was watching Much Music(Canadian MTV basically), and this video came on, it had just come out. I was hooked instantly. Went and bought the album the next day, Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses and dove into their earlier stuff. Love Slipknot to this day. Sad fucking day for music. Rip Joey \m/

Genuinely did not know this song was Slipknot the first few times I heard it on the radio due to your points of this song being more "accessible" while I was used to them being more aggressive. And then I eventually learned it was them and I was like, wait THIS is Slipknot?? Damn, alright. Was able to see Joey drum for both Rob Zombie and Slipknot at MayhemFest 2010/2012 respectively.

He had a trait that I've discovered! I'm poor so I can't get the information out! If they knew what they were doing inside of the brain they would be healthy and engage with self care on a higher level! I need a social media platform that has alot of people on it and some equipment to show them what they are doing inside of the brain and why they engage all of the time!!! What we do is very cool and it's in their comic relief, music, music videos and other types of art and how some teach certain subjects!!! Please allow me to describe what me and my doctor figured out!!!
