Saw them in 2016 in Sydney at the last ever Soundwave festival.. We destroyed the barrier in front of the stage, and the security ushered the band off stage for security reasons, I've seen a lot of bands live, but that was the first time I actually feared there would be a riot. - After several unsuccessful attempts by security to get the crowd to move back from the stage, Corey came out, and in true showman style, explained the situation, and asked the crowed to take 5 steps back on the count of three, and literally thousands of people stepped the fuck back exactly as he asked, the barrier was put back up, and the band came out and played for longer then I think anyone there expected. It's something I'll never forget.

And mean nothing. 2nd, Slipknots' debut album sold the most copies in the labels history, more than any roadrunner signed band, I'm not gonna name them, you guys know, some of the best metal bands out there. My very first Slipknot show was in Atlanta with Slayer, Anthrax and Motörhead at the Mayhem festival. Sid got down in the pit with us during Spit it Out and we crowd surfed him! Was an awesome night!!!

I believe Slipknot is one of those bands you never get tired of.. There's never gonna be a 'not this again' moment. Compare them to Disturbed, every song sounds pretty much the same. Yes they had their 15 minutes of fame but honestly I wouldnt miss them. I wouldnt miss Limp Bizkit either. Even worse than Disturbed.

When Iowa came out I remember a metalhead that was sit next to me on the bus. I talked to him and he told me that he saw Slipknot in concert. The big nose guy jumped from so high in the crowd and landed on him. The guy stood up and spitted on his face. He said it was so cool and he will remembe it for the rest of his days. I found that also very cool. At the time I said to myseld that "only in the metal scene gross things like that can happen and you don't mind, furthermore, you take it as a honor" :-)

I went to a stone sour concert on Oct friday the 13th 2017 and ICP was playing a show literally at a venue that was across the street from where stone sour was playing. Knowing they and slipknot feuded makes that all the more special lol
