It's no secret that Corey Taylor of Slipknot is open about his opinion on many current issues. Here he speaks out against cyberbullying after the incident with Leslie Jones (who stars in the all-female casted reboot of Ghostbusters.) He also stands up for the Black Lives Matter movement and tries to engage his fans in the conversation. July 19, 2016.

I may not agree with all of coreys opinions. But I agree with his idea of political debate on an intellectual based and not hate and fear. And I do believe racism is an issue but it’s more complicated than BLM. Certainly black people suffer more than white people. But while people aren’t wrong when they say we’re victims of racism too. You don’t beat racism with racism. Which is what so many people try to do. Amd it’s why the problem has gotten worse and why we are where we are. And BLM wasn’t originally what it is. I agree with why it originally became a movement because it is true that they are unfairly targeted but not all black people are victims or oppressed. But BLM has become corrupt. And the issue is far more intricate and complicated. I respect coreys opinions and how he thinks it should be handled. That’s why I’m a maggot.

I don't have any involvement with BLM really, but what Corey said here makes a lot of sense and he speaks surprisingly lucidly. I don't agree with everything that BLM does, but I find as a Canadian, and being aware of how even racism still exists in my country today, America is still full of it and inequality, racism is still pretty rampant in the States, more so than any other country I know in the western world

It was the ending mask for their .5 touring cycle and As far as I know he wore it in 2016 only thus why its kinda odd to see it and you never see it in music videos and such. That being said, this version is one of my favorite Slipknot masks of all time, that and Corey's Vol. 3 mask!

Yes, I agree that racism is something very bad, however, nowadays it sometimes appears that "white men" (didn't want to offend anyone), are bullied the most. I am from Poland and I have plenty of friends who are from many countries in the world and I have no problem if someone is "dark-skinned" or something like that. I really like Corey as a person, but I think he should stop getting his politcal oppinion out there. He did this before with Trump and now this.
