Yep. Wasn't expecting the word 'metaphysical' in a Slipknot reaction. As well as speaking intelligently she gets it. Slipknot are sometimes best appreciated by feeling it rather than analysing it. Not that the lyrics don't have meaning but the first time you hear this song it's a lot to take in. She both got it and talked intelligently about what it might mean. This was a truly epic reaction. So many reaction videos rarely appreciate the music and the lyrics. Lex's breakdown of the lyrics was really thoughtful and deep. I also never stop loving watching someone fully lose themselves to metal for the first time and experience the high we chase the rest of our lives. The thing with metal compared to drugs is sometimes the high is even better then next time when you hear that next bad ass track from another metal band. Keep going guys. This was awesome to watch.

Ok ok ok, but now you’ve gotta do “Devil in I”, “Snuff”, “psychosocial”, “duality”, “before I forget”, and “unsainted”. Yes they change their masks every album. Usually the single from the new album is how they reveal the new mask, usually it involves them shedding their old selves to reveal the new. The great thing about Slipknot is you can interpret their songs any way you want. I have listened to a song from them after a relationship ended and felt one way and later listened to that exact same song and was empowered by how I interpreted it at that point. A truly amazing band and loyal to their fans ( which are lovingly called Maggots BTW)
