Steven Seagal’s toughest student - Aikido seminar never before seen footage 2006

Aikido Larry Reynosa Shihan teaching at Lenny Sly sensei kanazuchi dojo in may of 2006. This one of several seminars that reynosa sensei taught at the kanazuchi dojo. This video unfortunately only has brief audio in the beginning of the video. Although the footage is good. Lenny Sly sensei of the #roguewarriors training compound trained under reynosa for several years before sly sensei split from reynosa sensei in 2007 to travel his own path. Reynosa Shihan is the founder of the Makoto Dojo in Ventura CA and is the chief instructor and founder of the Makoto Aikido Kyokai organization, which is directly affiliated with Hombu dojo in Tokyo japan. Reynosa sensei was a long time direct student of Steven Seagal Shihan and has appeared in several of Seagal sensei's earlier movies as a stunt guy in the fight scenes.

Lenny love your videos! I'm curious why did you choose Larry Reynosa to train under and not Haruo Matsuoka.

peter wong I did train with Matsuoka sensei but mostly at seminars and there were several I attended. Reynosa sensei at the time was a better fit for me and being a direct student of Matsuoka sensei was a hard tast to achieve.

oh ya, I remember working on these techniques with Shihan Reynosa alot last time I trained @ Makoto Dojo, he had us apply the head lock and drop down and kneel waza with a bottle against a shomen uchi strike, good stuff!
