How do you even start getting into making stuff like this? It’s really cool.

@@childchernobyl998 The first thing of all would be to learn how to model in 3D. You have Blender, which is a very good free tool, and there are good tutorials on KZbin. Some knowledge of some image editing software (I use Photoshop) is also necessary. And finally learn how some of the modding tools work (I use SharpOcarina for Zelda, and Banjosbackpack for Banjo Kazooie). With all that you could start doing some things.

A day night cycle is a pretty cool concept to include in a mario level. I don't know anything about oot mods, but I'm guessing programming it as overworld instead of a town/village. Pretty cool

Any scene supports the day/night cycle it's just in towns and dungeons the time speed is set to 0. There's actually some overworld areas that progress time faster or slower than the main field.
