Q: What do the colors mean?
A: Colors indicate which hand is playing.
Q: What's going on with the last chord?
A: In the original recording, the last chord was interrupted by applause. I thought it would be startling/unpleasant to listeners (who wouldn't know until then that there's a huge audience) to be hit with that (especially ones listening with earphones with the volume turned up). Unfortunately, there was no way to remove the applause and leave a normal-sounding chord. So, I took the first part of the last chord and modified it into something that lasted long enough, and made a completely different look for the visualization (to "explain" why the chord sounded different). I'm not completely happy with it, but it was the best I could do.

This is so wonderful. Question - what’s happening with the audio on the last chord? It doesn’t seem naturally produceable by a piano, but funnily enough, it matches the visual. Did you change the audio?
