Hi Becky! That is a great idea with putting the patterns over the matte and framing them. The way you displayed them is just perfect. I too don't like the hangers on the back of those picture fames. Could you hot glue another type on the back of the frame itself? Just a thought! Also I love your craft room! Hey. It's not messy. It's an artist studio. The main thing is, you know where everything is and you can just close the door. My favorite day of the week is Tursday's. It's discount days for senior's citizen's at my favorite thrift stores. I take advantage of that. I have two favorite stores I go to. I enjoy going antiqueing on other days. I am retired, soon to turn 68 years old (. It comes quicker than you think).My grandma always said, " Age is a matter of the mind, if you don',t mind, it doesn't matter." Het, every day is a gift from God, right? Becky, I enjoy your videos, you atre a delight I am so glad I subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your next video. Vivian from Texas. 😊

Love the patterns and where you put them. So perfect! And so is that ice bucket! It's so you! And don't you love when you find even just one new piece, placing it where you want creates a whole other conundrum of events, lol. What was in that spot now needs a new spot, and when you find a place, what was in THAT spot now needs a new place, and so on, and so on. 😂😂 But that keeps our homes fresh and keeps us from getting bored! 😂 Thank you for sharing! ❤

Such nice finds I knew you would buy the ice bucket.....so you. I like the patterns in the frames. My Mom made me the pant suit and made it look so easy. For the frame on the back when you have 2 hanger clips on the back I cut a piece of ribbon to the size I want. Tie each end of the ribbon double knot to each one of the hangers. You will have one straight line. Put your nail in the wall and center it where you want it and there you go. I hope this makes sense. Thank you for always making me smile. Hug 🌺

Hi Becky, I was hoping you would buy the March Angel, she will be perfect in your tiered tray next year. $6.00 was a great price. I would have bought her too! The flowered ice bucket is definitely your style and fits in nicely where you placed it. The patterns were also a good find and at a very good price. I've seen them as high as $12 each. As you might know, Vintage patterns are sized differently, so if you ever do attempt to make something, I would recommend comparing your measurements with the actual pattern pieces. I even do that with current patterns. The first clothing item I ever made was a V neck olive green jumper in 1964!

Hi Becky, What a cool idea to frame the patterns! And I wouldn’t even try to make a dress, etc. from a pattern today- made a skirt in 8th grade home ec and that was the beginning and end of that for me! And those two hooks on the backs of pictures are awful- my husband refuses to hang those for me. Have a blessed week
@MyLittleVintageHome6 ай бұрын
lol, I remember home ec. I think my class was the last one to have it. They got rid of it not long after. It’s a shame too. This generation could really benefit from it. Although they should call it “how to function in the real world” lol

Well you win some, you lose some (referring to your sewing attempt) At least you tried. I have a feeling it turned out better than you are giving yourself credit for. I took a local sewing class and it was a blast. She offered days where you could bring in your project and she would help you fix it or guide you on a part you were stuck on. Maybe there is something like that in your area.
@MyLittleVintageHome6 ай бұрын
I would love that. There used to be a lady that worked at Walmart in the sewing section. I would go and talk to her and pick her brain when I got stumped on something. I need to look her up she had since retired but she would probably like the company.

You can alter the hanging system on the frames for the patterns by just running some wire or even jute string through both of the hangers on the back of the frames to create an easy solution for hanging them. This probably isn’t making any sense until you try it 🙄🤔
