Do you know of any smart switches that control wall receptacles and won’t fry when I accidentally turn them on with a 1150 W vacuum cleaner plugged in?

Interesting product....In my house with brick walls I wouldn't be as worried...but if a timber wall I would want to know how flameproof this device is when those super quality components fail....and those wiring nuts !!!! In our part of the world, Oz, I doubt insurance would pay any claims

Can I ask, does the plug give information like how much current being use?

It does show some stuff, but I don't recall if it shows real time current. I do know that it will show total power used over time.

It just uses wifi, so no need for a hub.

Good video but you didn't say if the usb port was fast charging or not.

The 2.1A stat should tell you that. It's not. For fast charging, you would need to start around 3A, or have more voltage, which this doesn't.
