I agree with you. There were several moments in the show where the girls could have prayed for one another, but they didn't. Since it's not a religious movie, I'm not asking the producers to include prayer scenes; that would be misleading. I don't think she'll take him back. I know this is fiction but let's try to extend grace sometimes. Soji is an absolute nuisance for sure, but he's also someone that she loved at some point in her life and is the father of her son. She was also very vulnerable, and he knew this and tried to push up on her by bringing up cute memories of them 🙄, but Adesuwa still found the strength to stand up and ask him to leave. That was very strong of her IMO, and even if she falters, it's fine because she's a human being. This episode 4 hit me hard when Tami was weeping at the end. I didn’t expect to start balling as much as I did. As a small business owner, I could relate with her struggles more than I would like to. It’s easy to feel alone as an Entrepreneur and I’ve had so many days of late where I felt I was going to quit but this episode showed me that having the right support system is everything. The way they rallied around her and started to problem solve. The way they also uplifted her when she started to feel like she wasn’t good enough and imposter syndrome was seeping through. This episode reminded me about the importance of having a great support system like these ladies. Praying for more of that in 2025.

When daddy Davies said "effort is nothing, result is everything", it hit me so hard. @igwegrace9172Ай бұрын
That’s not true. Efforts may not be everything but it’s not nothing. If there’s no effort how would you see results? The process and the efforts are really what makes the result. Don’t be over hard on your self, when you know you’re trying give yourself some accolades, you deserve it when you put in the efforts. In life, sometimes you actually win some and you lose some but that doesn’t mean you didn’t put in effort.

Tami’s situation is a good example of how parents have unrealistic expectations of their children after they failed to fully handle their responsibilities of educating them. Oh my Godd that’s exactly what hat I was going to say. That scene pissed me off. He literally never really taught her how to really handle financial responsibility and never even told her he’s just helping for the mean time. Just kept giving her money without encouraging her to be financially responsible and all of a sudden he stops it abruptly. And then he expects his daughter who has been relying on him since to just abruptly do everything on her own. His approach is very bad. He should have started off but by bit letting her know he won’t be doing it forever or also be reducing the amount he gives. But to abruptly stop is wrong. It’s like you’re driving with some speed and then suddenlyyy press break so harshly without reducing your speed from from some mile away, it could affect the car and in some really bad cases the car could tumble especially if there’s a speed bump. He’s approaching is completely wrong but she can do it without him. 💪🏾

Tami’s father is a typical African parent, who does not believe in passion because they sent them to school to do what they want. It's not fair.
@liyahaaliyah228023 күн бұрын
I don’t think it’s fair. He has been supporting and financing her business for 5 years and putting millions in it. Tami is not financially responsible. She spends more than she is making. That’s the reason her business can’t grow.

What Tami is going through has been my life fear. I legit got into tech so that I can save for my future business, because I can't live without a certainty of income, and that's your life as a creative. I try to still do fashion on the side so I don't lose my passion, but being a creative is hard. You just never know how things will turn out. Her Dad cutting her off is honestly needed, sha.

As a parent, I can relate to Tami's father. Tami should have considered studying marketing and also starting a side hustle as a fashion designer, given her passion for the industry. By doing so, she could avoid the ongoing financial struggles with her dad.
