Thank you so much for these lectures! You're making research easy to understand and accessible for everyone. I do have 2 questions though... (1) Should I include cross-loadings for the moderators? (in SmartPLS there's a column in the cross-loading with Variable A x Variable B) Or should I remove that and focus on the individual variables when writing? (2) What if you have a variable with a categorical measurement type? Let's say socioeconomic class. Do I need to establish discriminant validity for that?

Insightful lecture. in a research paper for reporting Discriminant Validity, do we need to write all the methods (Fornell & Larcker Criterion Heterotrait Monotrait Ratio, Cross Loadings)?

since Fornell-Larcker criterion is not in use anymore, why it is still provided in the latest software?

Assalamualaikum. In my basic model, the relability and HTMT for all variable were good. but after coverting two LV into one higher order construct the chronbach alpha became .404 of this HOC and its HTMT with two another constructs is 1.02. How to solve this issue? or shall I consider the reliability and vality scores before converting it into HOC?

WAS. Alpha is low because of the no. of items. You can check SD and see if there is no SD, if so remove that response.

What if one of the construct is more than 0.9 in Heterotrait-Montrait Ratio? What should I do for this issue? Furthermore, the cross loading for 3 items are more than 0.7. That 3 items are more than 0.708 in the Indicator Reliability Test, yet the items do not affect the AVE > 0.5. Should I delete the items?

If HTMT is higher and deleting cross-loading items can help establish discriminant validity, you may delete them one by one and see how it affects HTMT.
