A tip I got for doing a smash burger if you haven’t got a smash tool I’d use parchment paper and smash it with the bottom of a saucepan because it’s easy to press it down and use two bits of parchment paper then you can smash them on the chopping board before you put them in the pan. Also watch George motz on first we feast he’s the king of burgers and will teach you everything you need to know and the history of them.

Good luck and all very best in your very very differcult journey of sobriety won't be very easy alcohol is every where even in household stuff even ready meals and other food items so check ingredients the temptation is everywhere maybe set up monthly reward chart for yourself I have one in 3 levels I'm far to very poorly for top level basically more I try each month the bigger reward I give myself no try no reward harsh but it needs to be. I have family and friends that are alcoholics it's utterly brutal to watch one family member suffers horrendous tremors and severe ataxia due to the damage he's done to his body and brain nasty substance that alcohol is. I Pray you do very well and can keep yourself occupied maybe find new hobby like arts and crafts, walks to local Woods and parks even nature wetlands centre nothing more peaceful than being out in nature. There's loads people cooking on KZbin I found new one yesterday cook with keef he's older American very interesting I also love history cooking programmes I'm far too severely Disabled to cook now don't even have the appetite these days anyway but doesn't stop me watching these videos as such joy to see people cook from scratch and good old fashioned home made cooking wen it's really old fashioned cooking brings back nice happy memories of growing up and smelling the lovely aromas from our late Mother's and Grandmother's cooking people are just far to lazy these days partly because life skills passed on from generation after generation are no longer passed down even schools have stopped hospitality home Economics, haberdashery, woodworking etc such awful shame but that's how times have changed unfortunately

Im not surprised you couldnt eat all those, that was alot of meat. Another option you could try is a BBQ bacon burger, adding some bacon and BBQ sauce on top of the double cheese burger. Also adding dried onion and garlic powder to the meat is a good option too.

Great video as always. I only ever make smashed burgers and my method is put the mince ball between cling film and press down with a saucepan.

Yes Keith, 'Smash Burgers ' are supposed to be very thin. About the thickness of 2 to 3 matchsticks and best served in a potato bun. You've done a really good job here and have inspired others to give this a go. The burgers look great. Checkout KZbin channel 'Ballistic Burgers' Cheers Keith 🤤👍😀
