I agree. It is something that should have been done ages ago. You are not allowed to touch or talk to the riders because they are on duty. The same rules should go for the horses. There are horses that may not mind the attention but others may not.. some horses are like most women, they don't want to be fondled by strange people. And feeding the horses should not be allowed, period. The horses like the riders are on duty and should be left alone.

1 2 I'd say fall in line with the Chinese who never cease to amaze me with thier self entitlement, rudeness by pushing people out of the way so they can take all their phottos, even pushing other people's children into the path of the horses hooves. so they get their own way. Those who wait until officer's back is turned and make a race to the horse for another photo during change over. The screeching and hollering they do grates on my nerves. one was told to shut up by one of the MOD officers, while our nice lady officer told 3 witches to get behind the bollards they kept on going towards the horse when she was distracted by other unruly tourists. The Jew's are also rude and obnoxious. Standing there staring at the guards and cursing at them in their own language. If they did less breeding and taught their btats how to respect those who are here protecting us they will go far, but they, like the Chinese think it does'nt apply to them. About time they were all banned for life and from visiting the UK. Soon teach the rest back home that we WON'T put up with their crap anymore. One sytike and they go minus £20,000 on the spot fine for being ignorant, self entitled narcissistic half wits?

I did not realize that the soldiers in the camo uniforms rotate into the guards in their formal regalia. I just figured they might be a jr regiment to support the horses and the stables. It's nice to know these young men get a break from just sitting and fending off tourists. It's so hard to recognize them without that helmet. I've been watching for a long time now and found your channel and decided to stay here because your comments. Such a nice guy!

All the soldiers are part of The Household Cavalry , the two regiments Life Guards in red uniforms Blues and Royals in dark blue , there is no junior regiments . They all do basic training , learn to ride and care for their horses as part of the ceremonial duties . They also do training in armed reconnaissance vehicles . When on ceremonial duties at Horse Guards some will be in full uniforms some behind the scenes preparing horses etc . I don't know if you've watched Johns " Behind The Scenes " videos filmed at Hyde Park Barracks Knightsbridge where they are based , definitely worth a watch . Happy you've found this channel , please subscribe if you haven't already so John can reach 100.000 by Christmas 😀. Have a good day 😊
