have you got clue what your talking about there are diffrent size licencing on commercial boats and due to size engins were they can fish but tell me sustainable we are stricly monitord as our us regulations you praising him up he should not been on there without sertificats and tell me how would a beach skiff that size go of to catch fish 200 miles of shetland or icland to give cod and haddock as well as lot other deep water fish you sure you dont work in parliment as that only other place iv herd such dribble

dont copy how he cooked it then was not gutted or skinned when you cook dover sole got to be skinned as its like leather and you never score it it top fish to eat all good seafood cheffs will tell you keep it simple grill with butter and season salt pepper what he did with this fish shows he no nothing about fish what soever a clown in fact

Another great vid, great catches! Did you gut and scale the fish? The skin is always tasty... Scale, cover fish in any type of starch (not flour) and deep fry the whole thing. The crispy fins are the best part...

Enjoyed that and I agree it was a selective method of harvest and some by catch return. next time you get a sole try dry aging it in the fridge for a couple of days before cooking it. Really improves the flavor. Wrap in newspaper or paper towels and leave it in the fridge.

infact the buy catch on the bigger boats is less as there working closer in lot of buy catch young that are growing in shallow water gill nets are one worse methods for catching buy catch people moan about trawlers with the right escape grids in there most young fish go out now so befor you make comments like think what guy catch big boats have get facts correct im skipper owner of a big boat so i now what im talking about

You’re guna think I’m mad here right but… Those fish bones are incredible if you fry them 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m not even joking mate.. google it.. best ones I had we’re in Spain.. they cleaned and dehydrated the bones then deep fried them and they were kinda like fishy pork crackling 🤷🏻‍♂️

I really can't decide how I feel about commercialnet fishing. I can't help but dislike it and feel it isn't fishing, just catching anything that swims but at the same time I understand that if all fish was line caught, It would cause a hike in fish prices. This smaller scale definitely isn't as bad as the super trawlers but still unsure how I feel

As you seen from the video that in incorrect mate it’s a flatfish net , almost everything that came up lives on the bottom , not free swimming fish 👍 it’s more selective thing you realize

They didn't even sort the fish until they came ashore, the whole time fish not culled, and suffocating. Pretty poor conduct, especially to then put on youtube.
