Hey Jay, got 8 hrs on a boat out of Weymouth yesterday, caught my first conger 12lb, yeah baby! Buzzing mate, went to put a flapper on as per your videos to hopefully get a bigger one, skipper said they not working so put on a 6 inch mackeral and sliced it down the sides, it was only in for 5 mins the rod took a slamming bite and i began to wind but the clutch just kept slipping on the reel, couldn't do anything with it so just kept pressure on the fish did a big surge downwards and the rod tip snapped 😳, well embarrassed as the rod belonged to the skipper, he felt it and said fish was still on bit round the rocks and he pulled for a break! Gutted mate! Could have been worse the bloke next to me only caught 2 star fish all day 🤣

I’m on Cape Cod in the US and I’ve never seen or heard of spider crabs. They look like they’re one tasty crab. I’ve seen a lot of stuff on your channel that I haven’t seen on Cape Cod. Razor Clams and another. Love the channel but once again your giving them all away instead of eating them yourself. I may have to move to Gurnsey and just try to be where you are at the same time lol yum yum yummy.
