My daughter was Onyx 10 and was in the Force!. This band is So elegant, tasteful, and classy. Epitome of black excellence!! I am so proud of Hampton!!! The band director needs to be commended.

Instead of people going back and forth on which band did something first, be happy for the exposure these bands are bringing to HBCUs. Southern at the Tournament of Roses parade a few years ago, Grambling at an NFL game so many weeks ago, and Southern at the NFL game last night. Be happy for these youngsters.

Famu did not compare the Song SOS sung. 🤦🏾‍♂️ also Famu wasn’t the only school playing the song in the 80s Howard played it heavily and Bowie State plays it more like than anyone (it’s they name). And sos is just one song!!! The chant is in there!! Hell I written my own arrangement based on it!! @@TomazHilton I'm not reading all that.....That chant is ALL FAMU because it is not even in the song....it's from.another song and they meshed the two together 40 years ago. Y'all stole it
