Hello I see you have posted the video of the two twins I was the Grand Marshall of the 1st Twin I was on the podium with Sterling after he WON that …... I have the audio that was emailed to me YEARS later but I do not have any video..... any chance you have the video of the Command I have still pictures of the command Dale SR won the 2 Twin I have great memories and pictures but it would be awesome to have video I won the honors because I worked at Winn Dixie and they had a Gatorade contest that I built the best display and they selected my entry. It was great!!! Thanks so MUCH if you have the video

43:15. Hard wreck for Ken Schrader. He suffered a fractured sternum in the crash. Despite this, he would go on to race in the 500 three days later and finish a strong fourth.

was Kenny Schrader wearing a full face helmet also? id have to imagine his chin tucked into his chest and the helmet at least helped somewhat

Schrader's wreck reminds me a lot of Earnhardt's wreck.

Schrader's was even harder and more head-on, too. It's insane to me that he not only got away without being seriously messed up, but ran the 500 just 3 days later...

You're right. And I believe he finished 4th in the 500. Which makes it even more amazing.

Chris Calvert Schrader started back in 31st and pushed himself into the Top 5.

The one difference is the ken Schrader car in Earnhardt s wreck. Dale was headed to wall like ken did but then he hit kens 36 m&Ms car and shot him in at a sharper angle. I believe that's what killed him. There steering wheel s were even bent bout the same

Only thing I can think of with Schraders wreck is maybe he was in better physical condition when his wreck happened. Dale was older and already had - had a couple really nasty wrecks, think about it he was kinda borrowed time, the 96 Dega wreck shoulda killed him. There's also the fact or rumor whatever you want to believe that he loosened his belts which allowed his body to move more. In any event, Marlin showed he could win a plate race without the power of Morgan McLure engines albeit a 125 miler. Teresa there at the end with Sr in victory lane, despite all the problems she's had with his children since his demise, she was a ride or die dedicated wife to Dale...
