Chang’e struggled to hide the Elixir, but, in the end, was forced to drink it. Too much for one person, the Elixir gave her immortality, but it also swept her into the sky. Since then, Chang’e has lived on the moon, forbidden to see her husband, a Jade Rabbit her only companion. Yet, the Earth is once again in peril, and Chang’e finds herself upon the mortal surface. Perhaps, this is a second chance. If only she can save the world without angering the Jade Emperor, she can at last reunite with her husband.

I really hate making LoL comparisons, but this is so similar to Sona that I can't even believe it. Extremely similar mechanics [only Chang'e dances while Sona plays her instrument] and similar AoE abilities, especially the ultimate that does pretty much the same thing. Sorry for late reply. Yes you can buy other gods with favor. Standard price is 11000 for new god, 5500 for other gods. Few gods are cheaper. Standard price for recolor skin is 9500 favor, 15000 for golden skin (once you got mastery at least on rank 1). Other skins and voicepacks must be purchased for real money.

To be honest, that isn't a question I could properly answer without exhaustively researching every single Smite character and comparing them with every other character in every other MOBA game. In my unconsidered opinion, Smite's doing a pretty good job of putting new artistic spins on old gods and finding cool ways of integrating their mythologies into gameplay in a way that's both intuitive and fun to play. Take from that what you will.

They are called AD casters, like Hun Batz and other champions that rely on their spells over their basic attack. Its just physical mages are considered "assassins" because they are more melee range, and can still hit a ton with auto attacks.

Slight correction, Hercules ascended to godhood when he died. Well, Herakles certainly did, and they are basically same. You can speak about weird mixture as much as you like, but at the end of the day you'll be spamming all your skills to trigger her passive. Much like Sona spams all her skills to get multiple auras going and trigger her passive. Just I'ts not a complete copy, but it's heavily inspired at the very least specially if getting Polynomicon for powered up autoattack in between dances. The higher skillcap is questionable, since, as you said, Chang'e has a get out of jail card in her 2.

Holy hell, her passive would be the most OP thing in Assault game mode. You can't buy items untill you die in Assault, but like this with her passive you can. Prolly wouldn't be very good in lots of other game modes besides Conquest and Assault though.
