Think about the fact that the mags are so fast and effortless to reload - compared to reloading other semiautos with higher capacity and it is E Z to do the math so to have more firepower relative to time actually spent shooting. So this is to say we can shoot 8 rounds and have the mags filled back up faster than a higher capacity magazine which is a bear to load. Now if you can learn to reload magazines with your feet (without looking) then you could just keep right on sending lead down range enough to sink an enemy’s battleship.

also your mom could accidentally load the 357 ammo and hurt herself she would likely be a bit pissed at that so the 38 is a good choice. .380 semiauto wouldn't be a bad choice either, maybe a 9mm or even a smaller caliber if the kick is too much from the 38. I'm trying to talk my mother into one of these, a relative is going with the old "you need you a .38 revolver" completely disregarding the fact that my mother has relatively weak wrists and not great finger strength, she'd struggle to pull the trigger, and if she managed to the gun would try to fly completely out of her hands. They're super old school, like "I don't know why anyone would ever want a *plastic* gun" old school. But they don't think no one should be able to have them, they just don't like them personally, they're in a weird place between a fudd and not fudd.

Had a severe hand injury years ago, essentially had my hand taken off at the wrist...just bought this yesterday as my first gun, I struggled to rack other pistols simply because my functional grip was diminished so greatly by the injury due to the ulnar nerve being severed(table saw😖), the EZ made all this possible, I could pinch the back serrations and the extra last flare and easily operate the slide. A gun like this made an otherwise strong and capable guy like myself who has been (for defensive purposes)functionally reduced to one good hand able to defend myself, this gun goes beyond the scope of ‘weak’ , ‘women’ and ‘elderly’...the EZ gives back a strong defense and confidence to shoot again to those who have suffered hand injuries, both minor and severe, thanks for the great review🙏🏻

The biggest problems I found from the EZ series, was if you even slightly limp wrist it, it will not function correctly. Also if you don't have that grip safety pressed in just as so it will not fire. One of my students bought an ez because it was easier to chamber. But she has weaker wrists and wasn't able to lock them like they should be. Which resulted in numerous malfunctions. Then whenever it came to pulling drills, if she didn't get that grip the same time every single time that grip safety would render the pistol useless. I've been shooting for over three decades and even I had issues with it.
@kylejohnson13083 жыл бұрын

@@kylejohnson1308 that most likely has to do with not having trained with it enough. Training doesn't consist of standing in front of a stationary target at 21ft, firing on a sunny day, etc. ....... When you pull from concealed, sitting down, laying on the ground, retreating, etc, (single or both hands) under steess(like I train my students)you will not always have the best grip. This notice applies only to M&P9 and M&P380 Shield EZs manufactured between March 1 and Oct. 31, 2020.
