I really like that Padawan 6070. The Ibis and Persian are nice too. CRKT really hit it out of the park this year.

I just hope they’re using decent to good steel. I hate when they use 8cr or 4116 crap And D2 there’s no reason to use those steals now when you can get154cm or 14c28n and knives that are only 50 to 60 bucks

@@SMKWcom a lot of these knife makers have to wake up and start using better steals. Civi does a phenomenal job on 9 CR. But again there are much better steals at a very cheap price. Now that they could stop using the.8cr and d2 and 4116 I’m so sick and tired of those steals. They’re just no good in my book. I’m sorry I know there’s some people that may disagree but there’s no reason to use those steals no more they need to go and be gone.

yea, CRKT is finally realizing they need to start using better steels, as there are so many knives out there that collectors are naturally going to gravitate towards the good blade steel even at a higher cost. @@joecorzine8057

I have a CKRT Rogers Cuatro with bearings and it opens plenty fast. Assisted opening isn’t necessary any more. My only assisted opener was an early 2000’s Leek. It was cool then, but not really any more. Time moves on even through it was a nice knife in great shape. I sold it. Time to move on. 🔪🎸

Don’t worry, you can be reassured that it will be on the higher end of the spectrum. You can kind of tell that he doesn’t want the representative of CRKT to really give out the prices on the lower end.

They absolutely dropped the ball by making the squid compact assisted..well, really all the assisted knives. Its 2024.. no body wants that anymore.. seriously crkt.. yall have some great designs and great designers, stop doing assisted opening mechanisms on otherwise beautiful pieces

Sorry, I don’t do linerlocks. Never have never will. I like to look at CRKT knives. They have great designs but for the liner locks.
