I’m so blessed to have found the Rollins family. They brought me through some very hard times and I listen to him most nights while I fall asleep. I never was a cooking channel kinda guy, but I’m hooked now. There’s never been a bad episode. Four generations of veterans in my family and I appreciate the hat tip and recognition of active duty military and veterans. It’s the best part of the show. I too have Old Glory flying at my house. Also, I admire your love and dedication to the dogs. God bless you Kent and Shan.

When you held up that crab at about 1:06 and suggested one method of getting the grill's smoke into it, it looked a bit like a miniature bag pipe. I wish you'd have played a few bars of Scotland the Brave! -- I like bagpipes and I very much like Crab Legs, but if Mrs. Rollins wants to wrestle for them, I'll just as gladly hand 'em over with a smile. I work at the courthouse in Springfield, Missouri just north of Branson. I used a bunch of your Red River seasoning to smoke a batch of chicken thighs and sausage last week. I used it with a bunch of veg and rice to make the BEST DARNED SMOKED MEAT JAMBALYA you have ever tasted. I used it to feed Mom and Dad as well as a bunch of the courthouse clerks the next day. It was a smash hit, hands down, with the spicy meat being the star of the dish. Thanks to you, Shan, and your crew. Much Love, Bret

Ive had hundreds of pounds of crab in my life and this method/recipe provided the best ive ever eaten! The meat WAS smokey and flavor packed! We had Dungeness crab legs from Costco, the meat didnt even require tools! It released as one solid piece every time! It was unbelievable. I wont be able to cook crab any other way now. I was skeptical at first but WOW this is a must try! Thanks Kent and Shan!

I love cooking with apple or cherry wood, don't like using charcoal. You got me with your respect to veterans and the fallen sir, thank you for that.

Each single video it's blessing for my ears hearing how he speaks - classic and clear, fine accent. Comparing to how 15-30 y.o. americans are speaking - it is like divine vs deep underground level. And, thankfully, he doesn't speak like mr. Sam Elliot - like chewing his own mustaches all the time.

The cowboy is so entertaining and interesting to listen too. I made the smoke crag legs last night and I was surprised the cowboy was right when he says the smoke will get into the meat. I used alder wood chips for the smoke and cooked for 25 to 30 minutes at 250 degrees. I likely use less chips next time because crab meat to me needs just a little smoke taste for that big step up in favor.
