Hay , I'm 128 days sober, long timer ...I appreciate your comment & honesty , my first 2 1/2 months I felt much better & so was very motivated to stick w/decision, now I still feel good w/quitting ,but I think maybe I'm @ a baseline so to speak, where the initial, great feeling of doing something good for me & constructive has faded , I'll make this analogy, we are like trees 🌳 in that part of us can die , @ the Sametime a new sprout of a new limb begins , & the new limb is the sober growth on me / the old drug limb is dead & or dying , let it be gone the new limb grows bigger & stronger every passing day, it just takes a long time , but in the end it's a fuller stronger more powerful magnificent limb able to withstand any storm . @@DakuHonoo

@DakuHonoo11 күн бұрын
@@ThisNotYourBlock i ain't relapsing, that's all your choice and I chose to stop doing weed, not take a break from it, a pause, if the changes don't materialize after 10 weeks then maybe in 4 months, maybe in a year, maybe I have to build enough new habits to replace the 7 year old habit of smoking every single day after work/uni. It just feels a underwhelming when reading comments about people jumping from happiness and changing their lives in weeks. I lead the same live, just now without the artificial doses of dopamine and the other benefits of weed. But again, I've been forming the habit for years and I'm not yet even 3 months in, the basic detox for the brain. I just put too much blame onto weed/placed too much hope for change into simply stopping. So far, my life's the same, i get back from work, do the necessary chores o can muster the will for and don't have energy for anything else, just without the highs

The internet like glorify weed use and that makes it harder for people like under to stop using it. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days because I apparently had a seizure possibly because of the consumption of weed use. The doctor I had was a gastroenterologist and she told me not to use weed and I asked about vaping and she said do not vape as well. So it's been difficult but I'm just going to keep trucking with or without weed in my life.

You are a hero for addressing this topic! Especially for the younger people watching this. I’m 46 now and dealt with cannabis addiction up until march 11th this year (2024). Also nicotine by the way. I stopped smoking cigarettes on August 30th this year (2024). Please “Kids”, make a wise decision and stop before it gets to difficult…do not underestimate the effects of using cannabis and nicotine. It’s bad for your health, physically as well as mentally.

what you describe is what I get from alcohol. I generally don't get any negative side effects to smoking my medical cannabis. I did a Endo DNA test as well to see if I was suitable to cannabis, it tests which terpenes are going to be good for you and if you're at increased risk of getting psychosis, I strongly recommend doing the test, it's straight forward to do. I would like to point out, not everyone in there 30s will have a bad time smoking cannabis, I know so many people what operate at a high level career wise and lifestyle while smoking cannabis. it's a individual case by case basis, we aren't all the same and we all react to cannabis differently. it's your life and you know what doesn't agree with your body...alcohol is one thing I absolutely can't drink it messes me up, cannabis, doesn't.

Life shouldn't be so busy and stressful in the first place, even as we get older, it's just that we live in a system that often demands so much of our time. It could also be things which are not drug related like having too much sex, overindulging in sugary food or engaging in risky sports. If the answer is no, then you probably shouldn't be preaching against drugs. If you can't practice what you preach, then better not preach 🤡🤡
