My dad wasn't an official chef, but he was the family chef. Took pride in what he cooked. Sometimes cooking took longer because he made sure to prep properly, cook thoroughly, and he took the utmost pride in presentation. I do the same. One of the first dishes I ever learned to make was an omelet just like this. I can remember it clear as day. Cooking has always been something I used to remember him by after passing in 2020. AB, you remind me so much of him. All the good memories come back to life watching your videos. One of the many reasons I love your channel. Amazing how this video hits so close to home. Thank you

breakfast has always been my favorite meal and whle people complained about food in the Army, I thought it was great and particullarly breakfast. Of course I was Infantry so just ate one maybe two rations per day. On your belly and cold most of the time! Makes me grateful for what I have now!

Fantastic! I'm likin' the country style. We do an omelette with leftover rotisserie chicken and any vegetables we have in the fridge. I add thai chili peppers and green chilies. Knorr regular sauce is great in the eggs as you mix them or even tabasco sauce in the eggs.

I am lucky that as a child I was the youngest of 6 and the years spacing us were about 4 years each so I kind of was an only child in my teen age years as the siblings moved out at 18. My mom was a great cook and obviously older as I was in my teens. She made me an omelette every morning I wanted one before school. It’s a food that I still love and make regularly these days. My wife says I was spoiled, I tell her it was just love! ❤️

Try sliding it onto the plate you are going to eat in on and then put the pan over it and flip it. It’s a crutch but if it saves your day 🎉
