I have listened to this over and over and over. This is so good it’s almost sinful! Lol The piano, the guitar, the trumpet, the orchestra, and of course, the voice. You can feel the Blues in your bones when it’s done right. Don’t get me started about how phenomenal Ray Charles was!!

Okay Randy here is the start and finish about the great man, Almost certainly the greatest voice/ performer in the history of popular music.

@@raymondoakford8357 nah. I love Ray but there’s no “best” anywhere, just being damn good!
@raymondoakford8357 Жыл бұрын
@@impala327 The great thing also that makes him stand out was that he always took his live shows around the world nearly every year,,,, not just in the states which is why he is universally loved. That to me was a massive minus to Aretha Franklin who for fear of flying never set foot outside her country.

How can one have such mastery of the keys without vision....I have been playing piano for over 10 years and this is just....Amazing is not even the word. Ray was a musical genius of monstrous proportions, rivalled by no musical artist EVER except i'd say...Beethoven, Debussy, Mozart, and Michael jackson.

Ray was not just a 'natural' musician. He was a schooled musician, trained in classics as well as other forms of music. He simply was a genius, which made him appear to be 'natural' at it. I repeat, he was a genius. He operated on a level above the average person.
