What's better than learning a new chord embellishment that sounds like Jimi Hendrix and is easy to play? Not much. This chord embellishment takes you from an E-Form to a C-Form chord and works over a IV to I, or a I to V chord transition.
Some of my courses that focus on this style of chording:

ANTHONY, You go over the Hendrix first inversion and second inversion chords he used in the album Axis Bold as Love used a lot of chord embellishments for those inversion chords

I'll never stop being amazed by your SRV/Jimi-esque tone. What the hell do you do to achieve that "crisp clean" sound? I don't understand.

For most of my lessons since 2016, I'm using a Kemper Profiler. And most of the time I'm using a profile from Tone Junkie. I can't remember which profile I used for this lesson, but probably a Fender Super Reverb, or Dual Showman.

Great lesson. Thinking of signing up to your lessons online. Do your lessons teach through from a blues novice to this? I've played lead and rhythm, but no idea about the 1,4,5 progression etc.

From a theory perspective, yes. I’ve got several courses that introduce really basic theory for blues. From a playing perspective my courses are not great for absolute beginners who just picked up the guitar.

@@Texasbluesalley Thanks for your reply. I can play SRV, Hendrix etc, just want to understand what I am playing to have a bit more freedom instead of being stuck playing exact replicas of tabs. 👍

@@ScottiStudios learning what a 1,4,5 progression is, 12-bar blues and how turnarounds work will help you massively. This will become clear using tutorials featured on this channel (and others) and by playing along with backing tracks. I learned these things about 2 years ago and i bought a looper pedal to practice these progressions and solo over it, absolute recommender
