I've lost count of the number of times I've watched these three videos now, great for kit nerds like me! Thanks for uploading them. :o)

Thanks for posting. Old Cold War-era training films like these and the "How to Fight" series have so much...panache, I guess, to them compared with modern training vids. Although I'm not sure the Brits who made this one quite hit the nail on the head re. substance; the soldiers in the hypothetical section (ie. squad) prevailed less because of their awesomeness at fire and maneuver and more because their hypothetical eastern enemy had no clue whatsoever about setting a decent ambush. Hypothetically, the Brits got damn lucky. :)

Great British Infantry video! Its like the same shit that they showed me back at Ft.Benning Infantry School back in 1986.Of course the stuff they showed us was made during the Vietnam Era.

Great vids better than any of our Canadian vids and definitely better than more modern shit!

Love how the squad is critically low on ammo yet doesn't consider equipping the the AKs and ammo from the enemy KIA.

Normally the 2ic takes over [ eg the lance corporal ].
