@@tristandimitrijev3195 PETA shelters euthanize animals much faster than just about any other shelter you could choose to bring a stray to. Not only do they euthanize them faster than others, PETA shelters have been caught not reporting on strays and euthanizing them on the same day they "rescue" them, often in direct violation of state laws and regulations. PETA employees have been caught literally scouting out families to find out when they are not at home for the express purpose of luring their house pets off the property so they could legally "rescue" and subsequently euthanize them. The animals they did this to often weren't neglected, starved or abused. The reason for this is that a significant portion of PETA employees and adherents sincerely believe that any animal domesticated enough to be held as a pet is tainted by the corrupting touch of humanity and needs to be purged to avoid spreading said corruption to other animals. They will steal and euthanize house pets because they sincerely believe that they're better off dead.

Humans had even less to do with cats domesticating themselves. When we became an agricultural species, of course a lot of rodents came to eat our stored food, which became a major pest problem. Cats saw the huge population of rats and came over to eat them, basically becoming free pest control. So humans decided to let the cats hang around. The cats got a pretty sweet deal out of the whole thing. Humans will house and care for them, and in exchange, the cats have to eat more rodents that they want to do anyways.

If I recall correctly, in it they where showing how the game was being brutal to the pokemon and that the trainers and the regional professor were messed up. What's funny to me was that fact the parallels to PETA and the evil team of those games - Team Plasma - where a little on the nose. I mean, Team Plasma made speeches about how using pokemon was wrong and that trainers should give them up to them or release them to the wild, only for you (admittedly very quickly) to find out that, no, they was using them to do your typical evil things like trying to take over the world. That, and gaslighting a child since they were very young to helping them in their schemes. Of course, the Nintendo went after them, but had PETA actually bother to play the game, they might have realized drawing comparisons of them with Team Plasma might have been a bad idea. Then again, the average intelligence of the people working with and in PETA is sub-brick levels of stupid.

The reason you neuter sheep is because: a) Sheep flocks will very quickly begin to inbreed if the population is not properly managed and this can cause horrible genetic issues including diseases that can spread through the population. (Note: this is due to traits we've instilled into sheep over centuries of breeding and will take centuries more to remove if we want to breed it out of them) An alternative to neutering would be to remove lambs from the flock before they become fertile, but that leads me to point: b) Sheep are herd animals and will literally die of depression if they are not part of a flock.

Some creatures like crawfish ARE suitable for fresh water. In Sweden our domestic crawfish population are now all but extinct due to the introduction of imported disease carrying crawfish. What I saying is even IF a dumped creature can survive, they may eradicate the local life forms. Not that the activists care about that when releasing animals into the wild.

We didn't even think to give her to an organization as we as her owner don't get to see the management and rehoming, so we gave her to a trusting friend and we get pics of her every so often, Id recommend that then handing your beloved pet's to a organization.

Also you pay for all of it buying the animals and everything the animal needs, all the school did was get the animals for us and had a shelter for us if we didn't have room at home. It was really fun I wish to have goats again, but I'm currently fine with my chickens.

Who I rescued at a humane society after she was abandoned by the amish who abused her and tried to use her as a breeder dog only to get rid of her when she couldn't birth without serious damage to her tubes. She was missing patches of fur, she had to have an emergency c-section to save her life, and after that needed to be spayed to prevent more issues further on. The amish viewed her as usless and gave her away at that point at ONLY 2.5 YEARS OLD!!! Anyways what I'm saying is she's an adorable loaf of love and cuddles and cute little snorty noises and I love her more than I love myself. The fact Peta would have an issue with me owning her on several levels proves that they really don't care about animals or their stories

if you stop milking your dairy cows the same thing happens that happens when any mammal stops breastfeeding, their body goes "oh! no more kids to feed? better stop wasting calories on that!" and their hormones shift to stop producing milk. The old tale of a cows udders exploding is something farmers would tell their kids to make sure they did their chores in the morning without skipping and "ruining" the cow.
@ntfoperative94327 ай бұрын
No. Dairy cows are different because they’ve been breed solely for producing milk, so yes, they will get hurt if you don’t milk them, because their bodies will continue to produce, and the milk will eventually congeal in their udders, causing infection, and, if left untreated, death

I do like to mention that rescuing animals and giving them up for adoption isnt the solution everyone always thinks it is. For example if i rescue a stray kitten and give it to family guess what the family will do, buy dead animals for the cat which over the years just means more factory farming to feed these strays. The problem is not so black and white.

OFFICIAL COWBOY HERE Yes, if you don't milk a dairy cow regularly, the udders will become swollen and cause a lot of discomfort to the cow. Then, it will develop bruising and an infection known as mastitis, causing further distress to the cow as the milk congeals in her udders. If left unattended and unmilked for too long, the cow will die. Always make sure the tiddies are safe, ladies and gents.
@greenblood12118 ай бұрын
so it turns out, plant-based milks cost more to produce than normal cow-based milks due to the fact that some of the plants used require specific conditions to cultivate, and need a large amount of water to produce the crops.
@psychodoctor53708 ай бұрын
the reason other milk is more expensive than cow milk is , one low DEMAND most people just drink regular milk, so upscaling a product for a niche subset of people is not economically sound, second, space inferstucture, people do not realize how much space is required for large scale vegan milk substitutes, cown produce a lot more milk for the same amount of required space. another reason is more of the cow is usable even once it can't produce milk you have the milk, meat and fertilizer.

Macadamia nuts are the most expensive nuts in the world, mostly due to the fact that they require fertile soil, decent rainfall, 50+° temps, take 7-10 years to produce, aren't particularly sturdy against being uprooted, and, internally, our best cultivator of them is Hawaii which inevitably increases all shipping costs related.
