Hey Jordan, for April, you forgot to mention the Kanye West vs Pete Davidson Drama; which started out after Kim Kardashian declared herself legally single (a.k.a, her and Kanye Divorcing) and to then start dating Pete shortly after, resulting in Kanye releasing a Music Video for a song titled "Eazy" which features a claymation of Pete supposedly getting kidnapped by Kanye and then Burried alive only for Kanye to plant flower seeds on his head (reminiscent of the flowers Kanye once got Kim on Valentine's Day). Not to mention, there were some occasional flashes of Kanye holding Pete's decapitated head as well. Unsurprisingly, there was a huge uproar on the internet with many people claiming the video to glamorize relationship abuse. Although there was also a group of fans of Kanye West who were defending him; stating that it was just his way of expressing his "art", even going as far to compare this to when Eminem made a song about how much he hated his ex wife and how nobody said anything then.

What I find interesting about the Don't Worry Darling drama is how often people bring up Olivia's alleged cheating on her fiance Jason, but no one talks about how just weeks before, Jason was rumoured to be dating one of his and Olivia's longtime friends that knew them both for years. After Harry and Olivia were seen holding hands everyone forgot that. People also forget the extreme online harassment and literal death threats One Direction, Florence, and Jason fans sent Olivia on Instagram. Some grown adult, die hard larry fan said they would h*ng Olivia's daughter. Her Instagram comments are still private a year later. I'm not defending anyone here, just pointing out what people seem to forget. Obviously I know not all fans were threatening but lots of these people needed to grow up.

We not gonna mention that Kim actually _damaged_ the dress? 16 pouds or no 16 pounds, it did not fit her because it was literally sewn onto Marilyn to fit her and only her, and Kimmy destroyed it at the back seams as a result of trying to shove herself into it. That kind of damage is incredibly expensive to repair, assuming it even can be, and often comes with the risk of ruining it furthur. Entitled celebrities breaking irreplaceable peices of history for clout is disgusting.
@ariesfairy44442 жыл бұрын
literally and what is the obsession with marilyn monroe anyways?? like yes she was beautiful and incredibly influential but she died like 50/60 years ago now. i just don’t understand why they can’t just let her rest in peace. i would be mad if my little sister borrowed one of my dresses even now as i’m alive and ruined it, imagine some random celeb decades after ur death wearing one of ur most iconic dresses in history and ruining it for like a 10 minute red carpet walk. and ur not even alive to defend urself, i would be livid. like leave that woman and her things alone and let her rest🙄
@porrrnesianparrapio73772 жыл бұрын
But remember people 100% blame Kim for tge dress but we also have to blame the estate for allowing her to even wear it in the first place. Had that been me I'd have gave her a huge hell no. Idc about the amount of money you offer, that dress is one of a kind. It's unique and there will never be another Marilyn Monroe.
@lauras53592 жыл бұрын
@@porrrnesianparrapio7377exactly. Like it’s Kim’s fault partly but it’s also the estates fault. They probably wanted to stay relevant because apparently Marilyn Monroe isn’t relevant /s 🙄😕. In fact they were probably the ones to suggest it to Kim in the first place and she agreed because why not
@jazzycat89172 жыл бұрын
@@lauras5359 its not Marilyns estate who owns it, its Ripleys. As in Ripleys Believe it or Not, world famous oddity museum and publisher of the books ever kid wanted at the book fair. Theyre not short on relevance, so while i absolutely DO blame them too for agreeing to this for the money (covid probably kicked down their museum profits a bit), i doubt this was their idea since they were actually trying to preserve it prior to this. Kim or her stylist probably had the idea and Ripleys was just too money hungry and spineless to say no.

such a good retrospective ahhh i hadn't heard abt a few of these !! an interesting fact abt the Try Guys 2nd try channel complilation edits of Ned (the ones u showed in the screenshot) were actually fan-made i believe! The Try Guys actually hired a fan that was making these hugely popular fan-edits that they were posting on their own channel so they could actually earn money from it, and post them on an official channel! They have been very transparent abt this and even interviewed this fan on their podcast if i remember correctly! Not sure if this editor still works with them but yeah! it's clear that Ned's marriage was commodified by fans just as much as the other try guys themselves

My New Years resolution is to train my dogs to cooperate with their husbandry tasks. Nails, ears, teeth, brushing, all of it. No more “sending them to the back” to “get it over with.” It’s a huge task for me as a newbie trainer but I know it’ll pay off. Happy New Years everyone!

Gorilla Glue feels like forever ago. Especially I think because Nicki Minaj ended up releasing a song this year referencing the incident like before Super Freaky Girl. This year felt like 4 years in one to me.
