Having had the privilege of seeing Alan Rickman on stage in Dublin back in October this year, it makes me realise just how good he is at conveying emotion without words; his eyes say it all here. And this video has the real 'Wow Factor' in the way it has been made - seemingly saying so much more than the actual film did I think. After all, this was in fact such a short (albeit disturbingly emotive) scene in reality. Thanks for sharing :-)

This part actually made me cry a little when I went to see this :/ You see the pain in Severus's eyes that he wanted to help her, but he couldn't do anything about it.

Alan Rickman had the most blank face in this scene, yet his eyes portrayed so much emotion hidden within his character. He's a brilliant actor. I can't wait until "The Princes Tale" part of Part 2. I really, truly hope that heart wrenching chapter is done justice, as it is my favourite chapter from the whole series. Regards to Charity Burbage, I wonder if her saying "We're friends!" reminded Snape of Lily, vulnerable like Burbage, will Lily reflect that quote as well in Part 2? :)
