Good options here. For hamstrings, especially in a team setting where athletes can pair up, nordic curls are another good option. No carpet or sliders needed, so good for outdoors. The partner holds and weighs down the ankles of the one doing the curls. They're not easy though!

I’m homeschooled and want to play high school ball. I’ve heard about conditioning and workouts for softball but I don’t know which are the best. Do you have any videos you recommend that would be pretty similar to conditioning and workouts that public schooled girls would do to prepare for playing and getting in shape for tryouts and just being better for the team?

I dont have any workouts prepared and ready to follow, but I'm working on a strength program for softball players that will launch later this year. It will be a paid program but not expensive.

Great video. The glutes. To me the foundation to everything. I have seen a lot of girls that develop lower back pain from weak glutes.

Thanks for watching, and I 100% agree with you. Strong glutes are still way underrated, even though people like Bret Contreras have done a lot to make them mainstream.

Lower back pain also centers around having a weak core. The core is literally the center of strength, coupling with hamstrings and glutes!

My daughter has developed Osgood-Schlatter disease. Any experience with this or tips on stretches/exercises that would be good for a softball player? Quitting to rest is something she doesn't want to do. She is a 14U utility player and catcher. She is taping it, wearing knee straps and starting accupuncture today. Any recomendations would be awesome!

why? I have middle and high school age girls carrying 50 and 60+ lbs in my gym currently. its like the 4 minute mile, it only seems impossible until someone does it.
