I got this kit the other week and I've only just finished putting it together, a couple of problems arose during the construction process, like pins not wanting to come out or a bad screw that refused to come out but having two of the same Op figures (busted basic robot mode head on one, my fault) they emerged into one Prime. Anyway, this video has been EXTREMELY helpful during this process, so, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Those extra screws they gave you made tightening the crotch area so much easier. When I first installed Prime's old screws the damn things just wouldn't hold. Added the new screws and they worked like a charm. I haven't watched the full video yet so I am curious as to how you handle the head which was the most aggravating thing to put on from the entire kit.

Installing this upgrade is a case of your mileage may vary. Three of the screws on mine are stripped and I needed to buy a screw extractor kit. Also, the chest panels can have the paint chipped off.

the finished product is really nice but for all the parts you have to take off and re assemble it seems it would of made more sense to just make a whole new figure... but with that said this looks like a fun project.

I don't really recommend add ons that require disassembling the entire figure. One of the major problem is Hasbro's toy have tiny screws that are really screwed tight. One can easily strip off the tiny screw if you're not very careful or if you use the wrong screwdriver. If you don't have the patience and end up stripping the screw you're pretty much fucked then you'll have to buy another figure.

Thanks for sharing this. I got the Ultra Magnus version on clearance from TFsource. The only thing different is mine came with an extra long pin for reattaching the torso, for the life of me I could not get Hasbro's long torso pin back into the figure. The third party one went in on one hit. Over all looks great. Just bummed the ultra magnus one has a white face plate instead of blue as the box and stock images show. Your video helped me out a lot, since the manual is crap. lol
