Thank you for finally posting this. I know I gave push back on your SNHU video from a year ago for not talking about the CBE program options. Just a few clarifications. The CBE programs are through community partners which are all nonprofit organizations. The focus is for these organizations to add an extra layer of support and resources to better help students be successful in their academic journeys. Also, it is not really that weird of a model, in fact until recently most of these organizations offered SNHU, WGU, CSU Global, and some continue to offer UMass Global CBE programs. Some partner's offered degree programs from multiple schools. For example GraduLet at one point was offering degrees from WGU Texas, SNHU, and UMass Global. Unfortunately, WGU recently pulled out of all of the partnership programs that I was aware of.

Hey Ryan! I’m glad you were able to get the info out on the CBE and community partners!

Business Administration is also another major that you can transfer maximum credits towards.

Thank you!

Southern New Hampshire is a quality school and many students graduate faster. They have a generous transfer agreement. 30 credits online is required.

Hey Ryan, I have a question about hacking a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Physics - are there any such programs available at all, and if so, what would be the expected cost/time required to graduate?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
Physics specifically.. That's a tough one. But WGU has an "Education" degree in physics. You can also hack a semi related Bachelor's, then attend a Master's in Physics after. Shoot me an email, I can help you come up with something... (ryan@9monthgrad.com)

I really want to do something, but doing it just seems so difficult. I want either a psychology degree, a writing degree or communications degree. I feel like the psych degree could be done quickly and I have interest and experience there. I’m also a stand up comedian, writer, podcast and content creator (biggish on TT) and have those skills. I’m done for any help, but buying a program isn’t something I can afford to do. I’m not even 100% sure I can pay for school..
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
Both degrees can be done quickly. Of the two, communications is going to be easier for most students. If you're on a tight budget school is likely going to be free because of grants. Apply for FAFSA and dive in.
@crazyrayreactsАй бұрын
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 Right on! What school would you recommend for Communications? I’d like to go as quickly as possible.

Hey Ryan, I'm wondering what the transcript will look like if I get in through the community partnership, as I saw your video stating that we should study directly from the university. Also, I'm an international student.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway67116 күн бұрын
Great question. I'd reach out to a Community Partner directly and ask.

So I have 60 hours from the University of Maine. And I wanted to transfer them over to Southern New Hampshire University. I wouldn't be able to do the back door route? If I wanted to do the back door route I would be starting from scratch?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
You should still be able to transfer credits in, they just have to match the required credits for your new major.
@wisdomackah5765Ай бұрын
hi everybody. i donot have a high school diploma. can i still get a associate degree from excelsior college. if i can get a degree, then after having an associate degree wiyhout high school diploma will i be able to apply at traditional graduate schools?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
You can take the GED Exams, and if you pass... it will count as high school equivalency. Then you can hack a full Bachelor's Degree. That would open the door for grad schools. An Associate's Degree normally isn't going to open the door for grad school but a Bachelor's will.

Is this better than UMPI? I tried umpi but was disappointed in how many of my credits actually transferred. Specifically gen ed courses. I have a AS degree and they want me to redo some of my gen ed
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
To be honest, UMPI is one of the most lax schools for accepting transfer credits. But you can certainly try and submit your transcripts to multiple schools. SNHU does allow for a lot of transfer credits into their Business Admin program.
@rickytorres4192Ай бұрын
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671thanks are you referring to their regular business admin program, or their competency based one? Last I checked they only offered a BA in management for CBE?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
@@rickytorres4192 Yep, that's the one I'm referring to. Management, and yes... ALWAYS CBE programs. If it's not competency based, keep looking.

Still no competency based degree in computer science for international students 😢 very smart video though!

I know, it's frustrating. I think UMPI might have one in the works.

@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
If you dropped out of high school you can take the GED. If you dropped out of college, you can usually enroll again and give it another try.

The business administration bachelors at SNHU will accept 90 credits from Sophia
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
Very cool. Do you know if this also applies to their Competency Based programs through their Community Partnerships?
@FunTimes-j5vАй бұрын
Why don’t you talk about second bachelors degree (after degree). For people who already have a bachelor.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
The same degree hacking process applies for second majors (double majors). The only difference is you won't have to retake the same classes you took in the first major. I will say... I prefer hacking a Master's Degree over a second major.
