Comardy can't be the sniper killer because they literally followed the killer after the final events of the game. There was a physical vehicle that your colleague police chief saw and chased down to the house, which lead to the confrontation of the killer who was then killed by comardy. He does have a mental break after that but The split personality thing is just a red herring. It's like you skipped the ending of the game lol

Have to disagree with you on your analysis R. If you play the last mission as the sniper killer, you could interact with all 3 detectives including Comardy. So the ending is more likely Comardy going insane after killing the sniper killer, rather than him being the original sniper killer

Also if comardy was the original sniper, the desk lady from the hotel should have noticed him from the night before and she doesn't seem like she recognized him at all. I think whatever the creature was that controlled the original sniper started to control and corrupt the detective as the detective started to figure out where and who the sniper is.

@@briang4470 Plus, If Comardy is diagnosed with D.I.D. (Dissociative Identity Disorder) then from Comardy's perspective the Sniper Killer shouldn't exist since he's the killer. So, That means the Sniper Killer and Comardy are two separate characters, and HQ ( the Cosmic Being) is the puppet master controlling the Sniper Killer. Granted both Comardy and Sniper Killer has the same taste for the same brand of cigarette and statement about it. But, I'm leaning over that it's a coincidence and the Devs trying to throw the player/viewer off course.

Wrong analysis at the end imo, Comardy CANNOT be the Sniper Killer, - the timing is way off during the mayor assassination. - Comardy would literally need to teleport in order to be right next to Dutch and the other cops when the mayor is shot. - Who is driving the escaping car ? A Ghost ? It certainly cannot be an halluciation since Dutch also see the car. As for the weird visions Comardy has, it is very plausible that the entity is hunting for another "host". Just my 2 cents.

I want to add the receptionist at the motel did not say anything when Carmardy interviewed her. If he was the killer, the receptionist would've seen the exact same face and said something. I also theorize the "men in black" are a shadow organization that recruits the killers. Carmardy saw them in the hobo scene, and they were bathed in green light, which is usually seen during parts where there will be some void shenanigans.

Hans in actually alive as seen in sneak peeks for Jordan Kings next game called "Killview" which is set in the early 1990s since we can see in the background Sara from Bloodwash and her son Nicky who's playing with a dog and this confirmed since in a different post we played as Sara and is with her son Nicky who's wearing the same clothes as the kid in the background of Killview and speaking of Hans we can also see him selling Corn magazine's so yeah he didn't died I believe he was knocked out just wanted to point that out for you 😊

The killer was Jeffrey. (Jef for short) You can found a couple of notes telling you is ful name in the basement. That cop's name isn't Jeffrey. And this game is taking place in a shared universe. A lot of the characters from the dev other games are in this one. That monster is real in his other game. Besides, when you're the killer.. you can literally talk to the main cop who's looking for the killer at that holiday event. You can talk to him, the chef, & the main cop's best friend. There lines isn't one they would've said to a fellow cop.

One of the Ghost that appears behind Comardy is the office worker from Bloodwash that was killed by the Womb Ripper and he was also seen in Ding Dong Dead as Rex's father and his wife was Pamela who was killed by the Sniper Killer since the both look the same and Rex's uncle was Gary from The Booty Creek Cheek Freak who was killed by the Cheek Freak so this basically means that Rex lost his hole family and and uncle by these killers and his brother who was the Ding Dong Ditcher Ripper was shoot by his psychiatrist Dr. Pleasent who is seen at the end of this game it's onasly tragic that Rex's is now an orphan and has no one left of his family which is just depressing 😞😭

I think that after he killed Sniper Killer and the Entety which is from Jordan Kings second ever game Tonight it Follows that was controlling the Sniper Killer ended up taking over Comardy and he became the next killer for this Entety and I believe that both of them weren't the first one since we find a lot of different documents which suggests that there we're different killers before Sniper Killer and the was used as a hideout for other killers but that's just a theory A GAME THEORY!!!!!

Damn, now that I havent thought about yet, in a twisted way I can kind off imagine the next killer disposing of the old one, but I am not sure if the fact that the sniper killer was proficient has any role in this play. I am sure we're intionally thrown off by the fact that Comardy smokes the same brand of cigarettes, like something doesnt add up. Is the "sniper killer" just a persona taken up by everyone fitting the ability? I mean Comardy in the end does seem to just "become" the sniper killer, it doesnt make a lot of sense that he was the sniper killer all along, desk lady not recognizing him, the major shot mission where he needed to teleport to be the Killer as well as drive the car. It kinda makes sense that "The Sniper Killer" is more of a persona taken up by those under the influence of the Monster. Then again, why does this work? Who was the last Sniper Killer? Why is it that Comardy lost it.. since in my opinion the final explanation that his mind broke from the stress release just doesnt work, I can rather accept that its "empty" because his sould went to hell. By the way... Does anyone ever check who all the people in the cell block and in the room at the end are? Depending, it could be a collection of prior killer and its victims, the killers locked up and under control while its victims collected... something like that. Also what about Jeff? Who is he? Is he just the current "sniper killer"s soul slipping from his body? Could he be the namesake? I just dont get it, something is amiss, maybe thats the point of the story... Someone has to dig up everything related and be really thorough, this is insanity shit

The real killer is the writer. What i think was going on with the whole story is that the ex gov sniper was working at that factory and got possessed by the entity. The subway phone was hijacked by entity and the sniper guy was told by entity to stop in the stalls and had to take her in the train when she escapes. Its all in the entity cause we are focusing on the mental and psychological but its simply just supernatural. The entity stayed in the crime scenes watching your investigation, hindering progress. The guard that survived told the investigators that he saw the killer was faceless before he died. That was not the sniper he saw but the entity In the end, the sniper killer was the guy you took in the house cause the entity had no more use for him and gave no more supernatural instructions. When you defeat the entity, it chooses you as the next victim to control. Giving you the walkietalkie to give you instructions. Since previous guy was ex government the walkietalkie was giving him instructions as if it was government themselves. The walkietalkie will give next victim police related instructions against the innocent Sorta poorly written story that had a too good build up

But this doesn't make sense for him to be the sniper killer. We play as the sniper killer, and during the last sniping mission, we can talk to Detectives Comerdy and Dutch - as the sniper killer. Also, Dutch and Comerdy DID chase someone back to that house - someone who was driving another vehicle who Dutch could see as well as Comerdy. Comerdy, even though the game tries to suggest it with the cigarette stuff and the fact he was the only one who knew the journalist students were going to that alleyway, literally couldn't have been the killer based off the ending events of the game because at the asylum, Dutch says Comerdy killed the sniper killer, so it's impossible for Comerdy to be the sniper killer. I know the game tries to suggest Comerdy is the killer based on the hints that it gives with the security camera footage, Comerdy's visions and hallucinations, and the cigarette stuff, and the bit with the journalist students, but Dutch literally drove the car they used to chase the sniper killer back to his house, Dutch saw someone speed away from the shooting and was following someone with Comerdy in the passenger seat. It makes no sense for Comerdy to be the killer, something broke with the plot logic of this game.

The game has so many potentials to make the plot twist hits very hard, but they planted too many red herrings trying to convince you Comerdy is the Sniper killer. THEN they threw all of that out of the window in flavor of including the in-universe entity and SUPERNATURAL!1!!11!!!1 part of Puppet Combo's niche. You might think that most evidence point to comardy NOT being the killer... but! Maybe, to compliment his new found fantasy he went to a random guy's house locked him in the basement (or he was scared and hide) and then procceeded to live his fantasy staying at this guy's house and using his car. On the last mission maybe he (the original house owner) was the one in the car and the one that he killed (explaining what dutch siad about comardy "shooting the killer") . The calls were from a friend of the original person living there wich probably worked somewhere before getting trapped. That person might have also gotten insane like comardy (mass hysteria?) and thus explaining coming along for the last ride at the parade. Or maybe he just forced him to play along.

I like the idea that maybe the killer wasn't Jeff and he just is taking over Jeff's home or identity or whatever. But the voicemails state that Jeff quit his job so that would be pretty unlikely timing, to kidnap him right after he quits. Also the explanation that the kidnapped Jeff is driving the car makes no sense. There's no reason for him to have come with the killer, there's also no hint/indication that there's someone with the killer, and it doesn't make any sense why he would drive back home

I dont know if anyone else has mentioned this but the game seems to take place before cell phones and so the number the journalist calls would most likely be the detectives office phone... making it even more likely that the supernatural entity is real.

You didnt mention the men in black throughout the game (first sighting being in the carvival), which is a really bad oversight as it's central imo to the entire plot. You see the two MIB the first time at the top of the carnival sign, while playing as the reporter, so very clearly MIB were real and were following the crime scenes. This is the same two MIB you see twice later in the game, and the MIB that even Butch references were looking for the detective. They're also at the basketball/gang scene before at the same time the sniper is sniping them, so they seem to be aware of the killer and who his targets will be .. This dispells a lot of your conclusions, primarily it's unlikely this is just all a delusion. You also didn't connect the Jeff from voicemail being the sniper killer (as there's mail in the killer's basement addressed to a Jefferey you missed), which also means the detective was probably not the sniper. Furthermore Butch and the detective both chase the sniper to his home, and since Butch was the one driving, it doesn't make sense if the Detective was the Sniper. There's also no explanation as to who the guy the detective kills if the detective is also the sniper, as the doctor later confirms that the detective really did kill the sniper/suspect. This game story is terribly bad anyway and its not surprising theres no actual sufficient explanation to any of this that doesnt immediately contradict several other plot points

The nutjob at the cemetary you question say that this case is part of a bigger picture, there are characters from other puppet combo games like the Captain from night at the gates of hell and there is always this green mist around. Could it be this is a prequel to night at the gates of hell (pls correct me if I’m wrong about the name of the game) But my theory is that the sniper was being possessed by a demon who is preparing chaos around the city, since puppet combo universe are probably shared, it’s possible that demons are corrupting people (even for years) in order to sow chaos before they attack, it’s like an end times sign to signal the attack.
