Wanted to update you guys - my son is 8 weeks old and we are loving the Snoo more and more. He has been consistently sleeping for 4 hour stretches and last night he slept 5.5 hours (10-3) and then 3 hours (3:30-6:30). I will film another update as he grows but wanted to give this quick one for now!
@MyJewishMommyLife

Second update - Corey is now almost 3 months old and has been consistently sleeping through the night for about a month. He is still exclusively breast fed and takes his last feed at 9, then usually wakes up between 5:45-7. If he wakes up closer to 5:45 he takes a quick feed and then sleeps until almost 8. So of course we are still loving our SNOO 🥰!

I really appreciate your review. Of course I’d love to be a stay at home mom but that’s not the hand I was dealt. I’ll have help but I’m still going to be a single mom working full time while taking care of my baby. I need the snoo more than my baby does lol I’m getting this bassinet no questions asked.

I think it's really cool that these can be rented for 5-6 months. That is a much greener option of reducing waste, especially electronic waste! Babies/baby things accumulate a lot of waste since they grow out of things so quickly, if you want this, but can't afford to buy one for keeps, or you want to be more green, consider renting one. It's only $30 a month! so $180 for the full 6 months.

What about the idea of having a wifi device right underneath your newborn's body? There's no conclusive evidence of negative impact of wifi radiation to the human body, but we still don't know the long term impacts of electromagnetic radiation such as those used by wi-fi and for the extended periods in this case (10-12 hours a day) on a body that has started to develop and grow. I don't feel very comfortable with that. Perhaps they can provide some shielding to shield the baby from the wifi communicator.

Thank you for your detailed review! Quick question: So if there are any instances wherein the Snoo doesn’t rock the baby back to sleep, does that simply mean that the baby needs to be fed or changed? And conversely, if the Snoo quickly rocks the baby back to sleep, does that mean that there’s little risk of us accidentally ignoring the baby’s essential needs?
@MyJewishMommyLife
@MyJewishMommyLife 3 жыл бұрын
That’s right if you’re baby is really upset or needs something from you the Snoo rocking won’t put them back to sleep they’ll keep crying and the Snoo stops and has an alert if it reaches that amount of minutes (I forget the exact number)

Hi lovely lady, I’m just wondering if the snoo helped your baby during the 4 month sleep regression? My baby girl is 9 weeks old and loooves the snoo. She sleeps through the night also which is great. I keep getting told ‘oh wait for the regression’ you won’t sleep for ages 😌
@MyJewishMommyLife
@MyJewishMommyLife 4 жыл бұрын
I think it did! I believe all babies have good and bad nights but I'm not so much a believer in 'regressions' that happen on a specific timeline, thats just me though! If your baby isn't sleeping well trust that in a few nights things will go back to the way they were.

I kinda feel like the things that come out nowadays for babies keep us from the baby. Like baby needs us to rock them and want to be close to us. They want to feel us, hear us, smell us. All these fancy things take away from that.
@MyJewishMommyLife
@MyJewishMommyLife 5 жыл бұрын
I agree!! I wear my son for a large portion of the day and if he cries at night i take him out of the Snoo and nurse him so for me I think I do what I can. I don't need him to be in a rocker/ swing in the day I can hold him or wear him but at night I do need sleep to be a good mom so I appreciate the help of the Snoo.

Definite must-buy for me. My first child was a nightmare. If I didn’t have help from my mother, I don’t know if we would have survived. The only think I noticed was 15 percent off. So I decided to buy it today offer ends till 7/21. Hope this helps out. Also this is my 3 child, my first son was a heavy sleeper, my second would wake up every 2 hours. Being 5 months pregnant I can feel him move a lot during the night. No, I wouldn't buy the Snoo. It is out of our budget but also I've read that it is NOT safe. The bassinet itself is safe but the velcro swaddle is a positioner thus not safe. AAP and FDA say to not use positioners with babies. Babies should also not be swaddled passed 8 weeks so it seems really pricey for a 2 month helper.

You can rent it directly from the snoo website it's 3.50 a day. So 105.00 a month hope this helps.

The answer is yes. Get the snoo. Rent it. It's worth every penny.

Just my opinion wouldn't wanna tie my baby or myself up either. I have experience with a papusboard and my brother said it was torture. Imagine being tied up? Just saying... Nightmares for years.

Lol I don't think the Snoo is much different from a normal swaddle that babies love because it mimics the tightness of the womb.

Imagine wearing diapers to pee and poo. Yeah I don’t think they are going to remember it.

Jasmine Valiente i looked into it, you can rent it but you’d be paying more on it in the long run. might as well buy it or maybe just hold your baby 😂

They are in fb marketplace between 650-800 with accessories. Then you can resell when done. Do you have kids? I probably would have paid triple with my first 2 kids (exclusively breastfed and they were waking up 5+ times a night until like age 2!)

@@chloepeterson1854 mine are the worst sleepers, I remember having to take car rides in the middle of the night to get my oldest back to sleep! I'm pregnant with #3 and definitely getting this since I can't spend my entire day in PJs taking care of just the baby like with my oldest baby. Mom needs sleep to run the household!

Can you buy larger pouches. Some babies are much longer and larger. Our baby was over 10 lbs and very long. At what point to they out grow the pouch baby holder ?

There are currently three different sizes that come with the Snoo from small to large so most babies will fit, my baby is pretty long and lean and the sizing worked well for us.
