SNOW STORM CLEANUP 2019 DEEP SNOW PLOWING

So we had a crazy storm that dumped about a foot of snow on the ground. This is us cleaning up our storage lockers, using our CAT skid steer on tracks and our backhoe with a box blade.

I like to clear the snow off the top of the fan and rad cover before I start up my Cat Skidsteer s when it's really cold and snow covered. I think the machine warms up a little faster.

Yes I agree snow is a good insulator but, n a cat Skidsteer the fan blows all its air from above and the snow blocks up the radiator.

thanks for the comment! I like to leave them on as the ground has some odd slopes and it prevents the plow from digging into our asphalt, after we are done the ground is always bare asphalt.

do you teach classes on how to plow snow? the mechanic at my work doesn't angle the blade and pushes the exact same spot like 14 times before he gets bored or pissed i cant tell which then moves on to another spot. 6 hours of plowing resulted in half the parking lot being plowed.....send help lol

we will have to haul some of the snow away to make room, we end up with a lot of snow, the piles triple in size. usually we still have some. snow in June.

yes the ground has lots of slopes and weird angles, without them in some areas the plow would grind the pavement

or wings on it so its versatile so you can use as wide box narrow box or folded in for narrow blade work. would help to carry more snow each trip thats for sure. doesn't look like too many areas for snow piles in there and alot of snow to deal with at times.

trygve riddle in between the building it would be useless as you would have to blow forward thus doubling amount of snow to move. Very possible can not blow over fence if someone else property and you certainly not going to blow it on the roof tops. Sorry, plow best method for this location. Not to mention with that wind blowing could become whiteout situation while working LOL
