I've driven a corolla in 2' of snow through the western mountains of Maine. Spent my whole life in the snow, never been stuck. 3 foot storms...4 foot storms...never been stuck. It was deeply satisfying to watch so many enormous trucks defeated by a few piddling inches of snow. Nothing wrong with the trucks, they just need better drivers.

I love your videos bro. One thing I wanted to mention, because it happened to me when I move north and I wasn’t aware. You are in tornado country. I moved south of Dallas to Tyler, Texas, and had no idea that tornadoes came down that low. A literal monster came through there right after I left. It killed a lot of people. So if I were you, I would be thinking about a storm shelter of some sort, to protect your family in the event that you get a bad one this spring. They usually fire up in April to June. Best of luck up there. Beautiful country!

Can I give you 2 hints? I've got 35 years of mountain and off road recovery. Number one: in some instances tire chains are your friend. Cross link chains are best because they hold your truck still better. Number 2 use the digger foot of your wheel lift and bury it if you can.. may need a sledge hammer to do it but with the chains it makes a more stable platform

When stuck in a snow bank or deep in a ditch filled with snow, pulling low acts like a snow plow (mud is the same) if pulling thru and not backwards out on the path it went on. You not only pull the vehicle, but everything in front of it. Pulling on a slight angle up, lifts up and over whatever it is. Mud is the perfect time to "go fishing". Low boom, tight line, lift boom. Repeat.
