His moveset looks really good! He's got some of the best BRV attacks, his ground dash in particular is really unique, you can hit targets that are really high in the air. And Sovereign Fist is crazy fast!

annihilation looks like it has roughly the same charge time as the startup of wave attacks, so you can kind of use it similarly to one. Just make sure it counts, because 45 seconds is a pretty long time, but is one of the most powerful attacks in the game in both utility and damage, so kind of like a high-risk high-reward move. people will most likely hit with this as a punish for other long-recovery moves, or the usual off-target wave HP hit

Look at Cloud, he didn't start off the way he acted in Advent Children. It took many years and many events in his life to trigger that personality change. Same with Snow

@@bwareist I believe I am aware of all the reasons, but allow me to posit you this. Is Cloud still acting as he did in Advent Children? No, he has cocky smile and has few nods to his original incarnation. Terra is also now more confident, whilst her few personality traits, such as scaredness , linger around, she found way to move beyond. Snow doesn't stay depressed for long. He fights Lightning and she convinces him to drop it. He even returns at the end of the trilogy still as chipper and foolhardy as ever. So even if he had a reason, he never stayed like that forever. He is more than his depressed state, and sadly in this game, it's the only one he was given.

There won't be another Season Pass due to every character being datamined last year, thus, the surprises were unveiled too soon. They will try another way of selling those characters. The next one will come in March and the clue is "Dive".

haha here's the extra info for ya bruh he isn't ally nor a villain more like neutral He isn't evil but in the third part he is treated as an antagonist since he didnt want to be saved by lightning in that game.. he was a hero in XIII and XIII-2 but after the ending of the last one... loosing his wife... and near the end of the world... he loose al hope ... giving into despare... and whit the chaos infutions and he being a L'cie once more (since he wanted to become like that to regain his powers all because of a cactuar xd) the cie'th transformation didnt help him much on his depression and the result... is a corrupted evil snow who only wanted to save his wife...

Sadly so, Matthew Mercer is known as the Discount Troy Baker in the VA community cuz he had to replace him in a lot of franchises apparently, he also almost played Yuri in Vesperia but decided against it because he wanted to stop living in his shadow xD But who knows! Troy played Snow in WoFF, he also loves his roles and mentioned Snow recently, but like you said, are they willing to pay him? The only thing we can fall back on is that they got Phil Lamar back to play Ramza again, and he's a well known TV and Movie actor, as well voice actor. So we can only hope they'll fork over their money on Troy xD

As well as about the energy thing; Troy played as a character named Ishida in Songoku Basara the anime movie, and he's known for his inedible screams and fury in it, and a lot of people said Mercer couldn't harness that same energy when he replaced him in the spinoff anime. Mercer is in a way stoic, Baker is kind of flamboyant, so good substitutions in voice but different energy :3 so you got a point! Dude right?? We can only cross our fingers!

My biggest gripe with this is that we are essentially locked with a partial version of a character just to give XIII a villain. It's no different (or maybe even worse) then when in original Dissidia, they made Terra mainly based on her starting personality and Cloud based on AC portrayal. And like Bartz had it, this isn't even his full Moveset portrayal. Just a part of it.

Aside from Caius, there is Bhunivelze (whom they could have given Cloud of Darkness treatment), Cid Raines (has appeared in multiple ff media as villain) or Lumina (has actual connection to Lightning and acted antagonistically; note, this assumes that if they were desperate enough to put Snow in, than putting Lumina isn't any less wild). Basically, out of all the options they chose, it was one that made least sense, honestly.

@@thatoneeco Galenth Dysley, Cid Raines and Caius Ballad are all great candidates. I personally prefer Galenth Dysley w/ his whole pope thing going on since its unique, he's XIII's main original antagonist, and hes already humanoid so it would have been easy to work with. Snow's inclusion is really about appealing to fans but the need to have a villain as well so they just merged the 2 and created something that even snow fans didnt want (they wanted original snow, meanwhile those that wanted a villain for XIII expected/wanted either Galenth, Cid or Caius) so its not a win win for fans but a win win for the developers.

Looks like an easy to play very strong and effective brute type character. I guess they are going for the glass cannon thing with him but we will see. As a character Snow is quite possibly my least liked character in the entire series after Hope so cant say im thrilled with his inclusion although I think hes a better character to add than Vayne who I stand by as being the worst character they could have possibly added due to how bland and unforgettable he was in every regard in XII. I look forward to at least giving him a try I mean he looks fun to play but I just cant bring myself to play with a character I despise so much for long although at least I would be happy regardless I win or lose with him I suppose. Really looking forward to the summon reworks tbh and I am hoping that Season 2 characters appeal to me a lot more. Taking a break from game atm addicted to playing Xenoblade 2 atm but ill be back to Dissidia after because despite me not having the character I really want I still enjoy the game a lot. Get the character I really want and ill be glued to it.
