Hello sir I just wanted to say I'm a newer subscriber and I'm so grateful for ur channel . I love it and ur energy is fantastic and a joy to watch. Keep up the amazing work and spreading the love in the snowboard community and keeping us aware of proper attitudes, joy, and just the love for the art of snowboarding. Is it a sport or art?? That's the question what's the base and foundation of this sport. I started riding at age 12 in 91 and rode hard to 2003 and then went a few times in 2008ish but now in 2022 I'm back at age 43. Im stoked. But things have really changed since the 90s. We were quite the gang and army of the slopes battling it out with the skiers. They hated us. No one wore helmets but fleece clownhats instead. We knee capped skiers for entering the pipe. It was the wild west. But in the wild we discovered the spirit and we rode with less technology and more will power. I was a rep for burton by age 14 and worked with other brands too. Got all the free gear and free passes I wanted. It was a sick time...riders on the storm. Thankyou for ur channel. I've grown up and I'm ready to be a kid again!!!

I really appreciate this comment a lot! I am stoked you can see how much I truly love this sport. So stoked at 43 you are back into it! The sport has definitely changed over the years! I hope you are enjoying the experience of the sport now

back in the 80s the wall was much steeper and there was a cat track about 1/3 way down that wrapped around to the mogul hill. Lunching from the mogul hill off the top of the wall and clearing the cat track road was an incredible in bounds resort hit at this little hill! There was a kid in my high school that went on to join the us freestyle team that would do massive 720s off it back when Burton was still making the woody!

Love your videos. Fun to watch and get me excited to visit different resorts. Whenever you go to Big Sky, MT you should let me know. I have been going to the resort for over 25 years and can show you some cool places. You would have to spend several days at big sky as it's 4 mountains and 5,850 acres, 300 trails, longest run is 6 miles. Just purchased the snowboard and ski stickers. can't wait to put them on my helmet.

Gotta just start small. Get used to jumping off side hits and other spots you can Ollie off of to help gain air awareness (balance).... step your way up. Work on one grab (whatever grab you want) get it dialed then work to the next. After you have a couple grabs start working on spins (again start small and work your way up).
