i finally figured out the situation with the train. the engine on melanie's train stalled when he attacked so if he let's them go and reverses they will be dead in the water until they can fix... so they will all freeze. but at least she unhooked wilford's control of their systems so he can't shut their power and kill everyone that way

Is this the first official "Snowpiercer" animated cartoon? I hope there are more. "Snowpiercer" has a great premise (the global economy is like a train - it has too keep moving or it will freeze, and some people have unfair class advantages), but both the movie (2014) and the TV show this clip is based on (2020 - onward) are extremely adult. It would be great if someone could make a remake, reboot, or knock-off of "Snowpiercer" that is appropriate for and aimed at kids. Come on, it's a story about a train. A kid-friendly and sanitized (no nudity, sex, drugs, violence, or blood) "Snowpiercer" could be great hit with little boys who have just outgrown "Thomas the Tank Engine."

Then the show couldn’t take on darker themes, or it may in subtle ways. But if they try to make a “kid-centered show” I wouldn’t doubt it would completely derail (hehe get it) from the original purpose of the shows darker themes. First off Mr Wilford is a complete psychopath, and it may not fully transition well into kid friendly form.
