Amazing job SnowTrax! As a resident of the west coast of Newfoundland (Corner Brook), I can assure you this video is not marketing, hype or over promotion. It TRULY represents the NL west coast winter lifestyle and you encapsulated it perfectly. Glad you "Had a time" and we welcome you back anytime. Great job!!

Great intro, great prologue to the video. It’s been a pleasure to have personally met Troy. I have been following him on social media for few years now and his love and passion for snowmobiling, SKIDOO brand in particular, which I truly like BTW, and anything related motorsports in general is truly part of who he is and why he was the winner !!! Great episode Snowtrax TV !!! A+++

This is the kind of winter trip I do with my children (now teenagers) in Maine. I always choose a location to snowmobile and ski as well as other indoor/outdoor activities. This year, 2023 season will be the first in 15 years we are not doing a combined trip or trip in general. Cost of everything has really hit us hard and to make matters worst, no snow and it's Jan 11th....crazy winter.😪

Love this. Great back to back episodes. Especially as we are lacking snow here there may be an uptick in people wanting to travel to places like this. An absolute dream of a place for avid snowmobilers. Really enjoyed these last few videos. Thanks!!!

I will tell you what it looks like in NE Wisconsin right now. The main grade to UP of MIchigan is Gravel and Snow.. If you want to ride and have no problem replacing skis, slides, and bogies COME ON UP LOL!

Cape Breton Island has a groomed trail system just as nice if not nicer!. It has a trail that goes right to Ski cape smokey which has the only gondola in Atlantic Canada. Amazing skiing and stunning views, a nice restaurant and also welcome snowmobiles. You guys should do a trip to Cape Breton Island !!!!!
@Nx0-o1i2 жыл бұрын
It's definitely not nicer lol

CB is nice but can’t touch Gros Morne 😂
@MrHugawa Жыл бұрын
I do agree the highland trails in CB are nice, but being a Caper and having been on the highland trails in CB many times as well as being to NF with the sled, CB trail system is not even in the same ballpark as NF... NF trails are amazing... then again, we Capers take our Island's beauty for granite, so SnowTrax come and see Cape Breton for yourself.

I'm from Pennsylvania and have ridden New Brunswich, Gaspe and several other places in canada eventually I will ride New Foundland I'm wondering if its possible to park the trucks in Nova Scotia and ride the sleds on a ferry to New FOUNDLAND and then saddle bag through New Foundland?
@rageridersrx2 жыл бұрын
@@Nx0-o1i I didnt know if it was possible We've done several big saddlebag sled trips even put our sleds on a train in Ontario which also turned into a 4 day saddle bag trip. with the cost of the boat ride to new foundland why not leave the trucks in nova scotia
@benjaminkpope Жыл бұрын
Hey im from Newfoundland... I don't think that's possible. The ferry dock in Port aux Basques isn't really near the trails (and Newfoundland might be bigger than you're expecting). You could definitely trailer across the ferry and go for it though, but if you're doing that you might as well go on up to Corner Brook or Gros Morne and start there
@curtisjmurphy Жыл бұрын
Wouldn't recommend it. Better off trailering the sleds to the Deer Lake area about a 3 hour drive from the ferry landing in Port Aux Basques. The biggest concern I would have with trying to forgo trailering would be the unpredictable weather. For example, yesterday you could have made it from Port Aux Basques to Corner Brook no problem but today there has been a massive amount of rain/freezing rain and the temps are rising, tomorrow there won't be any snow to get back on. All that said, don't let that discourage you from coming. I can't wait until my trip out west (I live in St. John's) in March. It's absolutely gorgeous and a ton of fun. I've spent at least a week out there every winter for the past 15 years and it never gets old.
