Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Craig Gillespie from a script by Ana Nogueira. Zack's Aquaman was a total reinvention of the character, but it was probably necessary because the comicbook version was a non-starter. It was an odd take on Aquaman but it worked about as well as any take on Aquaman could have worked. Mamoa was good in the part. All told, it's fair to say - it worked. The problem with Lobo is that a slim boutique fanbase even know who he is, and ONLY that slim group of fans. It's going to be a major uphill battle for DCU to convince fans they should care about this character most of us had never even heard of. The sheer oddity (if I may use that word) of casting the actor the fanbase knows as Aquaman will probably play against Lobo being taken seriously. This has NOTHING to do with Armin's conspiracy theories about a Snyder Cult. I've never seen any evidence of the Snyder Cult that Armin rants about. Where is it?
